This book is fantastic. I refer to it almost daily. I have never owned a tortoise before and this book has been able to answer every question that I have.

Good overview of the two species and their care. Some of the information is repeated but I think that was done to drive important ideaa home.

Good book with good tips on every topic regarding the ever-loved redfoot. I was trying to learn as much as possible in a short time due to 2 redfoots needing a lot of help. This is a good book to have in my collection. I have referred back to it more than once. Highly recommend.

Haltungsbeschreibungen und die Vorstellung von Tierarten im e-Book-Format.So hat man seine Nachschlagewerke immer gleich parat und muss nicht immer zum Bücherregal rennen.Zum Inhalt:Eine leicht verständliche Beschreibung der Köhlerschildkröte (Chelonoidis carbonaria). Sehr schöne und ehrliche Bilder illustrieren das geschriebene Wort und helfen dem Leser die Autorin zum Teil noch besser zu verstehen. Viele praktische Tipps und kurzweilige Beschreibungen lassen den interessierten Halter von Köhlerschildkröten das Buch innerhalb kürzester Zeit aufsaugen.Amanda Ebenhack hat mit diesem kleinen Buch gezeigt, dass man mit wenigen Worten viel erklären kann. Dabei bekommt der Leser trotz alledem viel Hintergrundwissen vermittelt. Schade, dass es kein ähnlich kurzweiliges Buch zur Köhlerschildkröte in deutscher Sprache gibt...
