Quality laminator, heats up very quickly and laminates quickly. Worth the investment if you do a lot of laminating.

This machine looks and performs very well but it swallowed my lamination: completely screwed up inside the machine!I complained in April 2024 and Amazon refunded me the £273.99 I had paid in December 2023. I needed to by a new one, which was £282.99, so an increase of £9 in 4 months. Now, in July 2024 it has been reduced to £270.99! I am cross about that.

Laminator is heavily used and so far is standing up to the hammer staff give it. If you are laminating something small you have to put it in the centre and sometimes small things don't laminate well. However overall it has been good but it is still early days!

Great machine, ready to use in seconds, would recommend

I was probably spoilt with using the Proteus for years. The rollers almost “took” the laminate whereas with the Venus you have to feed it through and many of my earlier attempts were spat back at me! The end results were disappointing. Not wrinkled or bubbled but not as securely laminated as I had hoped. There were soft areas even when cold that felt soft and looked soft. However it was way better than the Swordfish which I retuned but I will return this too. Just didn’t want to spend over £550 on the Proteus but looks as if I will have to. I do a lot of laminating and this machine is probably fine for someone doing the odd few sheets.

Great machine. Have laminated over 600 documents already. It's fairly quick and doesn't take long to warm up. I have not tried the cold laminating yet so unable to comment on that.
