This product is terrible. I’d give it a zero if I could. The product arrived very cheaply packaged and inside box was wet. And it didn’t have anything to do with the weather of it being delivered because the outside box was fine. I took this contraption out of the box and it comes with directions that say that it’s an egg steamer but then there’s other information on maybe cooking a piece of salmon on it but couldn’t really tell how you would actually do that. I think this item is probably a fire hazard because it’s made of plastic and it’s very white but the directions say something about cleaning them in water to avoid the electric outlet. You can barely understand the instructions.If you look at line 2 in the directions it says must supply will voltage in the use of electrical appliances. I have no idea what that means. Then line for says pay attention to protect the power wine so as not to cause damage caused the accident. The whole statement doesn’t make any senseThe directions just get worse and worse other directions say Michelle punching device measuring cup harm to humans harm to humans please be careful when an operation.The point here is that you just can’t figure out whether this item is safe or not because the directions are written in English but not in the proper way. I wouldn’t want to risk a fire with it

There are no instructions included with the skillet so I do not know how hot it is and can not figure out how to cook with the egg insert. Otherwise it is great for a quick breakfast for someone living alone and would like an egg for breakfast.

I ordered this item through Amazon warehouse so maybe I received a different item than other reviewers? One reviewer mentioned item is unsafe and this review is correct. I reported this to Amazon so that they could investigate. Item arrived with crushed bottom. Then I took a chance and plugged it into a power-strip, added water and steamed one egg. After light turned off, steaming was done, then it turned back on! Bad smell too. I unplugged unit and called Amazon right away. They should remove this item! The one I received did not look the same either, no colored nob on top of cover. Also, as previous reviewer mentioned, directions in very bad "translated?" English. The little booklet is a joke, just try and read it. It would be too funny if the appliance was not so dangerous. It goes into the trash, I don't even want to donate it!!

I call this my barbie skillet. It's just me and my little chihuahuas for meals. I've made fried eggs, omelets and regular scrambled eggs. Next I'll try to hard boil them on the little rack provided.

Love it. Perfect for doing boiled eggs without worrying about burning or over cooking. It says seven eggs but it only does 5.

Does the job but gets the countertop all wet.

Cracked after two uses. Was ok while it worked.
