Easy to Use with Great First Time Results
I had a beautifully figured live-edge redwood slab that I wanted to use as a picnic table. I purchased the 1 gallon kit from Amberart and after all the prep and sanding of the slab, followed the mixing directions religiously. It poured out and spread well, but i could see that I had not gotten enough product to flow and coat this slab as I envisioned it.So I ordered more epoxy and, after waiting several days to allow the epoxy to cure enough to be sandible with fine paper, I mixed the second batch and poured it out.WOW! Did that table just sparkle under this very clear epoxy! It was beautiful.I realized that my outdoor picnic table was going to get beaten up and scratched, so I did not go through any final sanding and polishing processes to get the last few imperfections out of the surface. I must say I am very happy with the results and the product, which was very easy to use and apply. It looks like $1M.I Highly recommend this epoxy for any projects like mine!

Not all epoxy resins are equal
I have been using epoxy resins for a year. I was always buying the same brand. I noticed though that the acrylic once hardened was significantly softer that other acrylic that I had lying around. I bought this product just to see if this was a problem with all epoxy resins. Once cast, this was much stronger and great optical purity. So ... if you looking for a good affordable resin ... I would recommend this one, they are not all the same it turns out.

Very good for DIY
For DIY projects this is a very good product to use. I do lots of DIY project and this is one of the best less bubble epoxy I ever had.

Pretty much bubble free! But easy flash cure triggers.
Of course I hand mixed very slowly. I have had amazingly bad luck with bubbles in other resins (even the expensive ones!) if I use a machine mixer. Have found slow and gentle hand mixing for 5-7 minutes works better on most resins. Not this one! Hit the 5 minute mark on this and the heat in the cup was suddenly amazingly high. Actually burned my hands as I took a chance and poured it out quickly over my paintings (3 5x7s). Had to use a spatula to brush it across the surfaces, although it wasn’t able to self-level at that point. Became chunky and unusable after just a few minutes. Good learning experience, but a waste of about 400 ml of resin and 3 paintings. The paintings weren’t large or important, which was why I gambled on trying to use it anyway. Note to self: Don’t bother. Pour into smaller cups and stand by with fire extinguisher. When they warn of flash cure, flash is the perfect descriptor. Didn’t light up, but with the heat, I expected it to. The other pours were uneventful. Textbook perfect I would say, with beautifully clear results. Still trying to find a resin for coating artwork that doesn’t roll off the canvases and coat the table mat rather than the artwork. Was told by a friend who resins her artwork to let the resin sit for 5 minutes after the 4 minute mix was done. Don’t believe I will try that with this resin. The resin that did stay on the surface was beautiful and cured relatively hard before I trashed the lot. I keep wondering why I am resining at all. It’s either super prolific bubbles all the way through the process (not with this resin), a light coating of dog and/or cat fur, or I’m working too fast or slow for the estimated work time.Frustration abounds. I did get two beautiful resinings out of this product though, so it was better than most at half the usual costs.

Still working on the finished product. Will update once it is finished.
Product is high quality. Much cheaper than the box store ( Home Depot/ Lowe’s) and cures faster. I’m doing a 1/2” bar top. Will post pics when completed.

Do not trust the volume listed and certainly do not trust the time listed
Just tried to use this on a table only discover a few things. Firstly not every batch of this one gallon stuff is identical. The first batch I worked with had a workable time of roughly 30 minutes for spreading and was very good at self leveling. The second two batches became hot in minutes literally smoking in an 80° garage after only 12 minutes with a 5-minute mix time. Additionally I calculated the volume required for my project on SolidWorks so I know it was right and I needed 2.7 gallons. This should have been more than enough even with the small amount that always gets left in the bottle during pour. However when I poured it into the one gallon containers it seems suspiciously short which caused a panic so I cut the bottles open literally scrape them clean even with scraping the total volume in this was .75 for the average consumer the actual volume is .6 maybe .65 you are far better off buying an epoxy that you are sure of the volume on. I did get a little suspicious when I first saw the bottles didn't have ounces or milliliters listed but just said approximately 1/2 gallon. In all reality there are approximately is closer to 1/3 maybe 2/5. Additionally I suspect that there was a lot more hardener by weight in the bottle then there was of the other part. Since if you read the directions this is actually supposed to be mixed by weight not by volume I wouldn't know because I had never seen something that was supposed to be one to one listed by weight. Didn't Discover it till things started to go off the rails. If my suspicions are correct you're actually getting even less usable volume because I think you're getting a lot more hardener by weight. Which explains why this stuff started to smoke after 12 minutes and began hardening even faster. The problem got so bad I literally had to embed stuff into the deep spots in order to offset what they shorted me in volume. Don't trust these guys order from somebody you can trust

good product
It performed as it should have and lived up to expectations. In this day and age, a product that does that is hard to find.

Epoxy resin very good
The media could not be loaded. This epoxy dries clear. It takes more than 24 hours to cure atleast mine did because I left them outside in the cold. So I have to work on putting my pieces in a warmer ventilated place to cure. So I can see if they cure faster.

Se amarillea / it gets yellow in 3 days
Es buena para usarla con pigmentos, pero mala para usarla transparente, se vuelve amarilla en unos días.Its good to use it with pigments, but if you want it crystal clear it will get yellow in 3 days.
