A good value hub, it's great to have this many extra USB ports
Works fine and what I really like about it is that the switches to turn the individual ports on/off are click switches, not the momentary press ones. I prefer the mechanical switch to the momentary-press - I like just clicking the switch more than shoving in the little rubber pad for a moment. You may like the other better, it's a matter of taste. But having all these ports at USB3 speed and the good price I paid for this hub are both reasons I am pleased with my purchase.

Handy little USB extension
Bought 2 of these-one for a new Laptop purchase and one for my new desktop. Newer computers have "minimal" USB connection points-- Just 2 or so "A" connections and a "C"-- this "bar" adds several (7) "A" connection points while taking up only one "A" spot on the computer-- each "new" connection point has its own lighted "on/off" switch. I have even connected a LED light to one of the points to "find that dropped" whatever thing that I may have slipped off of my desk which then rolled to the darkest point under it! Inexpensive and highly useful addition to your computing needs.

Good capacity and seems sturdy
Received as pictured and described. Works great, seems reliable, and I like that each port can be switched on and off without unplugging.

Works Great! Plug and Play, but has a Loose Connection Port
Works well and does the trick for my USB 3.0 and 2.0 peripherals. I'm on linux (Zorin 16) and it's plug and play, which is great! No hassling with drivers or anything else. It just works. Haven't tried the powered version, haven't needed it for my stuff. The switches are firm enough that you don't switch them by accident, but not so firm you bump the device around switching them.I just have one quibble, the connection from the USB cord to the device is super loose. If I pick up the hub to move it slight to a different position on my desk the cord comes out of the socket entirely and I have to reconnect my wireless headset. This is admittedly getting on my nerves. Not sure if there's a good fix. I'm going to try attaching velcro squares to it and the shelf on my desk to see if a permanent home helps.Otherwise the device has been flawless and the led lights for the switches are bright enough to see, but not too bright when you try to go to bed. Very nicely designed.

Works kinda.
This kinda works. Doesn’t completely shut down the connection when switch is flipped. So I still need to plug unplug but on the plus side it’s not on the back of the computer any more

For the price, you can't complain.
Works great for normal USB thumb drives. The on/off switches feel solid, and the light for each port is very visible. Speed is consistent with 3.0.Doesn't have enough power to connect external drives to it. Especially a spining HDD.It does have a port for A/C power, but they didn't include it in the box. Maybe with A/C power external drive might work. For the price, you can't lose.
