An excellent way to get into the game.
This is an excellent beginner set of discs! (Remember, yours may differ. This is a review of the set I received.)My kit came with 3 discs and a mini-disc (a marker):- A 170g Rhyno Putt and Approach Disc (2|1|0|3) - This putter really does the trick. It has the "Thumtrac" ridge on the top and a nice lip on the bottom to ensure that I grip it the same way every time. It is heavy enough to punch through the wind and seems to be built to last a lifetime. A great putter for any skill level!- A 175g ROC Mid-Range Disc (4|4|0|3) - This is the perfect beginner driver. Heavy enough to not be pushed by the wind, but slow enough that my weak arm can put it exactly where I want it. A disc every newbie should have in his or her bag.- A 167g Tee-Bird Fairway Driver (7|5|0|2) - This disc I feel I have yet to grow into. While I can throw it farther than the ROC, I cannot throw it as far as my friend's lighter 150g driver. I like having this in my bag as it gives me something that I can use right now but still has more potential to unlock.- A little red mini-disc - I thought this was more of a novelty at first, but as I play with more seasoned golfers, I realize the necessity of having a marker in my bag. This is a really nice touch that makes me feel like less of a novice on the course. This set is a great way to get into the sport of disc golf. The discs are accessible to beginners, but will still be of use to a player with calloused hands and bag with wheels.NOTE: I've had this set for just over a month. I recently spent the day comparing it with 2 other "beginner sets" (the boxed Innova set you'll find in stores and a Discraft set also purchased on Amazon). I have no regrets and would recommend this set to anyone.

Good Beginners Collection
If you are just getting into disk golf, this is a good mix of disks for a starter. It includes:Aviar - A classic putter that is used at all levels of the game.Roc - A standard beginner mid-range disc.Leopard - A fantastic fairway driver that almost every player carries. Especially good for short, technical throws.TeeBird - An undertable driver that can be hard to throw at first. However, it is invaluable as you get better.Valkyrie - A great overstable beginner driver that you will use for your longest shots. This is a good collection of disks that are easy to throw when starting. I once thought that I could throw any disk when starting, but trust me, it is best for your form and your frustration levels if you stick to easier disks. The disks are made of DX, which in Innova's cheapest plastic. The plastic is actually pretty good in performance, but it seriously lacks durability. If you are playing in the woods, I definitely would NOT recommend this product - spring for a nicer plastic that will survive impact with trees. The nicest plastic is only about twice as expensive, so if you can afford it, it is a good investment if you think you will play long-term.When I got the set, it only came with a free mini disc, but let's go over the free stuff you get:1025 scoresheet - This is a scoresheet to a putting game. The game is a typical way to practice putting, and if you want to be good at disc golf, you will need to practice putting. The scoresheet isn't necessary, but it could be nice to gamify your practice.Disc Flight Reference Card - This is really nice to have as a starting player. Understanding disc flight involves a lot of jargon, so it is good to have a reference card on you. You can also print different versions online, and I don't know what's included on this one, but it's nice to have.Driven Mini Disc - This is actually a necessary part of the game. Before you pick up your disc, you must use a mini disc to mark your lie. While they only cost a few bucks, it is nice that one is included, so you don't have to go out of your way to get one.All in all, I would suggest getting this and bag, and then you are good to go. Enjoy the game! It's a fun one, and I hope this starts a life-long hobby for you!

Great starter set
Great starter set. If you're just getting into disc golf and not sure what you need, this has it all to get started. Grab this set and a bag and hit the course and see how you like it. These are "entry level" discs, but great for a beginner. If you want to pursue the game you can definitely upgrade your discs later but this set has everything you need to go play. I bought this when I was just starting out and keep them around as my spare set if an inexperienced friend wants to go play and they're perfect for that.

Perfect for beginners
This was exactly the kind of set I needed to get into the sport. I had one of the 3 disc sets that came with a Distance Driver (Avenger SS), Mid Range (Buzzz), and a putter (Soft Magnet). This set came with a distance driver, two fairway drivers, one mid range and one putter.Learning the sport the mid range and the putter proved to be the most valuable. I am now currently bagging the Leopard Fairway Driver (which I use for almost all my shots), the Roc Mid Range and the Aviar Putter. All of the discs were great quality. I've debated whether or not I want to buy a second one of these for when I have friends come out and try the sport with me.
