Highly motivating reward and fun toy
We already owned a chocolate egg surprise maker and we have enjoyed it. When I saw one on scratch and dent for cheap I jumped on it. The more eggs the better. I use these eggs as rewards for my kids to earn. I place something small like Lego guys, shopkins, grocery gangs , barbie accessories inside. I place a small piece of tape on, so my kids don't peek, and my kids do the rest. Last snow day my kids made up several of these. Then rather than playing with friends they chose to clean the entire house earning points towards these. Best money ever spent.

A complete waste of money
Chocolate wouldn't cover egg no matter how warm it was. Used 3 packets of chocolate and it still wouldn't seep down. A complete waste of money.

Fun Novelty Toy but Messy and Time Consuming for what it Does
This product leaves a large mess. My son asked for this for Christmas, and he does enjoy using it on the occasions he pulls it out, but I don't enjoy cleaning up the mess. The chocolate packets allow the chocolate to flow out the opening when using the dispenser, so I have to take the entire dispenser apart and run it through the dishwasher when we are done. Once the chocolate hardens, it is very difficult to clean it off any surface. Another issue we've encounter is that when using the included chocolate pouches, we can't get the chocolate to cover the entire egg form. No matter what we have tried, we are left with a large space that is not covered. I think it is because the dispenser does not allow you to empty the chocolate packet completely. We are left with a decent amount of chocolate in the plastic packet, but we are unable to squeeze anymore out. Overall, this was a fun novelty for my son to use a few times, but it's not something either of us enjoy using frequently.

Good value for money, fun experience
My expectations were pretty low, especially given some of the reviews I read, but this is a really fun activity and does exactly as advertised. My daughter loves the experience of seeing the chocolate flow over the egg and of course eating it after it cooled off.

Works great, but need more chocolate.
Only comes with enough to do 3 eggs. You can always use your own chocolate but I think it would be annoying. We use this every once in a while. This toy surprised me though because it works great and with a little help, my 4 year old was able to do it. As long as you follow the directions, the eggs do turn out well and it's not too messy either. Chocolate tastes great too. I wish it came with more supplies, but they do sell replacement kits. With all the surprise egg rage, this is a really neat little toy.

Expired chocolate
I received this package as a gift for my daughter and the chocolate packs were expired. I was very disappointed that we wasn’t able to use the prepackaged chocolate that came with it. I had to get chocolate chips and melt them down in order to not have my daughter have a melt down. That the one gift she really wanted is not any good.

Lots of fun, easy to use.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. He loves it. We'll have to look up some videos on how to use just regular chocolate to enrobe the eggs. He is 8 and able to do this by himself and successfully.

Bad design
This is an awful design. The set up does not allow the chocolate to cover the egg in time before it hardens. An adult might be able to get it done if they move quickly but kids cannot, so it makes it not enjoyable.
