Fern and bee necklace. The Cecchi company was founded at the beginning of the nineteenth century. The workshop, situated in Florence's historical centre in Piazza Santo Spirito, produces around 15,000 hand-made items a year in copper, brass, and gold and silver plate, which are created using the ancient technique mastered by sixteenth-century Florentine goldsmith and sculptor Benvenuto Cellini.
