very usefull and effective
This injector worked very well for me. Being in an area with the destructive oak root fungus, other less targeted treatments are less effective, need much more chemicals, have problems of over-spray, etc. Hiring a pro is great but cost a fortune. This injector worked flawlessly. My best advice would be to be sure to get your chemicals right and watch Chemjets videos on YouTube, use the correct size drill bit. I was able to successfully treat my trees with this syringe. I only purchased one so it took a little longer but the syringe stood up through many injections. I was skeptical about how it would hold up twisting a plastic tipped syringe into tree wood but it has shown (so far) no sign of damage. it takes a bit of muscle to load the syringe, but was doable. When you are done using it, the syringe has tabs that you release and take the syringe apart to clean and treat with silicon spray to prevent damage from the chemicals. That was also easy to do. This is a good tool and because it was affordable, I was able to do the job myself

Buyer Beware You Might Need to Open it up
2 out of the 3 that I ordered have a significant flaw. The plunger that pushes the liquid fertilizer into the tree have dislodged inside the injector. I fixed it by opening up the injector and putting epoxy on base of the plunger and letting it cure for 48 hours. So far it works but for $30 per injector I expect them to work much better. I ordered 2 of these a year ago and they had no problemsUpdate: Now all three have the same problem. After I epoxied the 1 injector it also came loose VERY DISSAPPOINTED. Surprising since the first batch I ordered a year ago worked flawlessly

Inexpensive and effective but short lifespan
It's a simple and effective tool to inject trees. They don't last very long. I've perchanced 5 of these in the last year and only one kind of still works. If you are going to do a lot of applications this is not the tool for you.

Worked great!
The product is of good quality and worked great for me. I drilled the prescribed holes and it when it perfectly. I had no problems with it and will use it again in Spring when my trees begin to come out of hibernation.

Great when a systematic treatment is needed for a tree.
This is a good idea and works well. It puts the treatment into the tree directly where it is needed. I would like it even better if the needle end was made of metal.

Buy direct!
Why buy one for $35 when you can get 5 injectors for $70 directly from the manufacturer....

Easy to use and durable
Easy to use, did 40 or 50 injections around the base of the tree and will reuse it on the tree in the spring as well as another tree on the property. We did use a drill bit the same size as the needle so the injector wouldn't get stuck or break.

They Work
They work but not the best made of products like this. A little difficult to fill and the capacity is wanting. That being said they are not as costly and worked for what I needed.
