I have an original magic bullet from 2006. The motor is still going strong! My bases keep leaking and the o ring falls apart, so I ordered new bases.The first seller's bases didn't fit the cup. So this time I ordered the base + cup from a different seller. The base fits the cup, the base fits into the motor base, and it blends my smoothies ok (I've not tried anything challenging yet and I'll explain why).Con: when you finish blending and turn the cup to stop it, it sounds like the gears are stripping. I know it's not "user error" because I still have the original 2-blade base and that doesn't happen when I turn it to stop. So I'm concerned that over time I'm stripping something (either the base or the cup base) and I'm not really happy about that, but I'll continue to use it until something breaks. I will try to blend some ice in the near future and will revise my review if necessary.

Some kind of way in the mix of moving twice and the prongs on my last cup breaking I was clueless about what to do, and thank goodness this cup was available. It fits my blender perfectly and I'm glad to be drinking smoothies again.

1) This product came with the blade assembly disassembled. I assumed I would need someone to screw it on tight for me before I used it. No something I felt I could do easily and it might explode while it was turned on. There were no instructions on this so I didn't know what to do.2) The inside of the blade assembly was gouged and scratched. That is not normal by any stretch.3) Cup is thicker and much stronger than original. 16oz Cup and Replacement Blade for Magic Bullet Blender Set - Large Accessory Part Compatible with Original Magic Bullet Blender (1, Cup & Blade) *Amazon has been informed and they are working to correct issue. Although I hadn't used it, when they fix the issue, I would expect it would be a 5 star. We'll see.

It is exactly what it says, a replacement for the magic bullet 1001. I also agree with other reviewers that the size of the bottle is significantly smaller than the one that came with the magic bullet. You can squeeze a 14oz smoothie out of it but you are not getting the larger bottle, which may be preferred for those looking to cram a lot of fruits/veggies into their smoothie. I'm basically using this for a light post-workout protein shake and it was cheaper to replace the blade and get an extra bottle than buying shakes from a store.

This looked like the right fit, but doesn't actually fit my magic bullet blender.Super small container.

This product is very durable. I make healthful smoothies everyday and this has yet to fail. There is a slight leak in the blade portion but it only happens every so often.

Exactly as advertised. I needed a new blade because my old one was leaking. I also didn't realize how dull it had become until I used this new one. Seems like some reviews are complaining it doesn't fit on their non-Magic Bullet blender. The listing is very clear that this is for a Magic Bullet. Great buy. Thanks! Will definitely buy again.
