Flimsy blade, Do Not Buy
I would give 0 stars if I could. I was excited to use this cutter for a birthday cake, but there isn't enough tension on the 'blade'. It flexed so much that it went through the cake at an angle, and the layers were *not* even. I got much more even layers just cutting free hand with a long serrated knife. Please do not waste your money on this.

Not good doesn’t cut layers evenly was a bad choice but I just used it so I couldn’t return it anymore.

It’s great if you get the hang of it but can be wobbly and not the sturdiest one out there. It conveniently fold for easier cleanup

Waste of $
I work in a grocery store bakery, and was very excited to try this out. Thought it'd save a lot of time splitting cakes versus the standard knife method. It's just not sharp enough or strong enough in the center to cut evenly, doesn't matter how slow or gently I went all I did was ruin and waste 3 entire cakes trying to cut them down the center.
