Very effective unit
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder this unit would require a second look, but once you use it you will be extremely impressed.I purchased it to remove an odor from my travel trailer and it worked exactly as expected. That encouraged me to try placing the unit near the farthest cold air return from the forced air furnace in my house, removing plants and anything else that could be harmed, closing the windows and doors, turning on the furnace fan only and running the generator for an hour. I unplugged it and allowed time for the O3 to convert back to regular O2 per instructions. I opened the windows to bring in fresh air and was pleased with the change in household air.All in all a very useful tool for the price. Be CERTAIN to read the instruction sheet completely before using, to me some of the items seem to be out of order but everything that you need to know is there.

Cheap product. Dont ever try it
Well well. What can i say about this new product. Well this is a red neck machine. Made with cheap parts. Probably from a cheap house supplier. I know i get this for a good price. But i expected little more. I hope this can last for couple of weeks. Please if you're looking to buy one. 100% sure this is not the one. Good luck to me with my new red neck creation lolllll

Works great
I've had this product for a few years now and it works great in eliminating odors in the house from our dogs and from cooking. The ozone smell (kinda like fresh spring rain) doesn't last long. I'd have to plug the ozone in every 3-4 days to rid the smell of dogs. One down side is that there is not on/off button, just plug and unplug. Other than that, it's a great product that's made in the USA!

Confusing, hard to set up
Not easy to understand and set up. Better instructions would be appreciated. Don't know if it works, couldn't set up correctly. Waste of my money.

Still Hopeful
Well, I'm not as happy as I had hoped. The screws were off and it just appeared to have been placed haphazardly in the box, but nothing was broken. My problem was/is with cigarette odors left behind from previous tenants. I ran this in my kitchen for an hour. TONS of ozone. Yes, the smoke smell did dissipate somewhat, but I also do not like the smell of the ozone. I had been running about three fans to really spread the ozone around. After turning it off and waiting a while I returned into the apartment. The ozone smell was very obvious and It made me cough quite a bit. Perhaps I'm overly sensitive. I really had to spend a lot of time airing out my house afterwards. However, I will definitely be trying this generator again because the disgusting smell is still trapped in my cabinets. I am very hopeful.

Absolutely amazing machine!!!
My stand alone freezer's power went out and all the food inside rotted. The smell was absolutely disgusting when I opened it.I taped up all the edges of the freezer, thinking I had completely sealed it before placing it in my SUV to take to haul to the dump. Somehow, the smell and/or liquid from the freezer leaked out after the freezer was in the SUV for only 30 seconds. The aftermath of the smell was awful. I thought my new SUV's interior was absolutely ruined by the smell, which seemed to permeate throughout the vehicle. I tried everything to get it out (sprays, professional detailing, odor bombs, leaving all the windows open, carpet shampoo), but the smell remained.I must admit that I was extremely skeptical of this device, especially since it looks like a high school science experiment! After two 15 minute treatments, this device completely eliminated the smell. I wish I tried this device first, before spending hundreds on unsuccessful detailing and masking fragrances.

Although the unit came in intact, something is wrong ...
Although the unit came in intact, something is wrong with it. I attempted to call several times and left messages and the seller has yet to contact me to correct whatever is wrong. It simply doesn't turn on when plugged in, and because I know it's high voltage, I'm hesitant to put my voltmeter to the terminals.

Produces gobs of ozone
Mine came mounted to a piece of solid oak board, sanded smooth, unfinished with any coatings. Both the ozone cell and power supply were not mounted flush to the board the way the picture shows but were mounted spaced off the board with some ~3" 6-32 stainless steel machine screws. There are good reasons for it (the heat sink on the supply, and ozone cell are in the fan's air flow) with that mounting arrangement, but it is not very elegant and it is a wonder that it made it through shipping without the screws being bent or broken. Those screws should have spacers installed - even some small wood blocks would work well and probably make them quicker to assemble, and cheaper to boot. The advertising propaganda says: No "prone to fail" parts. Will last a lifetime. The paperwork that comes with it suggests that if you use it in a humid environment the ozone cell will only last for a few months (that is a $15 + shipping part)Ozone cells can be made cheaply enough. A glass test tube with foil on the inside for a "ground plane" and a wrap of spaced apart bare stainless steel wire on the outside to generate ozone - plus a well (electrically) insulated mounting of some sort... The details could be worked out by any Tesla coil hobbyist.Ozone is a free radical and will cause lung damage and possibly cancer, so this isn't something that should be running while plants and animals are in the room. Ozone will attack plastics paint and rubber, and may bleach some materials, given enough time. Humans can detect very small amounts of ozone by smell BUT large harmful amounts are not perceived as a distinctly stronger odor. The only way to tell that there is a lot of ozone being produced (without instruments) is by how long the odor lingers. The only other comment I'd make is that the board needs some kind of rubber "feet", the screw heads and electrical box protrude from the bottom of the wooden board and will scratch surfaces. and you will probably want some kind of 24 hour electrical timer so it runs while you aren't around to suck in the ozone.
