SIFT Study Guide 2018-2019: SIFT Test Prep and Practice Test Questions for the U.S. Army's Selection Instrument for Flight Training Test

This book is very complete and very useful. It has helped me narrow down the things i need to work on and has provided the right guidance for the test. The material is very clear and concise. I would definitely recommend it!

It's a good study guide if you have a solid background in math and physics, and the practice tests are a great benefit. The only issue is that some of the explanations are too brief and in a few cases are actually incorrect on the physics. The tests at least contain correct answers, unlike other study guides. For my own credentials, I'm an engineer with almost a decade's experience in industry. I studied this to join the reserves. I bought multiple study guides, and this was the best I found.

Way better than the other one I have it actually has a full practice test in it and one online the other one I got was half the size of it it was the one made by ageis

Great way to study for the SIFT exam. Going to take it in a week. This has definitely helped me prepare for it.

Spelling errors throughout the book and misnamed terminology. For example, instead of "Attitude Indicator" the book calls it an "Altitude Indicator." There is no such thing as an Altitude Indicator. There is however an Altimeter. Both are two separate flight instruments.There are questions on the online practice tests that are not covered in the book material. I had to research elsewhere to find the answers. I'm skeptical as to whether this book has produced positive results for SIFT TEST takers or not. Not one review prior to my purchase mentions test scores as other guide books have done. The other reviews also seem like paid reviews. For a test that you can only take twice in your lifetime, do yourself a solid and buy a different guide. Remember, if you pass the test the first time with a low score, you CANNOT retake the test.

I love how detailed this book is. I haven't taken the test yet. I feel really confident about this test.

: I definitely like the book - If I could improve the book I'd recommend more pictures as I'm more of a visual learner.

Maybe add more example photos, so far seems to be covering all the bases of what the SIFT entails
