Effective but noisy - Clean your teeth well but size does matter
The media could not be loaded. First ImpressionsWhen I first received the Waterpik, I was pleased to see the packaging wasn't unnecessarily bulky. Opening the box, I found everything neatly arranged and ready to set up. I'll admit I was a bit surprised by the size - it's larger than I initially expected, which is something to consider if you have limited sink space like I do.Technical Details & FeaturesI immediately noticed the 10 different pressure settings, which I found really useful for customizing my cleaning experience. The water reservoir is generous at 600ml, and I liked that it came with 6 different flosser tips for different needs. I spent some time testing all the settings to get a feel for the pressure range.Real-WorldTesting Within just a few days, I found myself gradually increasing the pressure setting until I reached level 10, which initially felt intense but quickly became my preferred setting. It's amazing how quickly you adapt! I noticed a significant difference in how clean my teeth felt compared to just brushing. I can actually feel it removing debris between my teeth that my toothbrush misses. One thing I should mention is that it's a bit noisy, especially at higher settings - something to consider if you live with others or have thin walls.Pros and Cons What I Love:• I feel a dramatic improvement in cleanliness after using it• I appreciate the range of pressure settings• I find it much more effective than string floss• I like the variety of specialized tips includedWhat Could Be Better:• I had an issue where the water wouldn't pull properly from the tank• I wish it was more compact for my limited bathroom space• I found you need to apply pressure when attaching the tank to ensure proper connection• I was surprised by how noisy it is, especially at nightValue for MoneyWhile I'm happy with my purchase, I'm now questioning if the portable version might have been a better fit for my needs, especially considering bathroom sink space and travel potential. That said, I do feel the cleaning power makes it worth the investment.Tips for Other BuyersI'd recommend carefully considering the size of your bathroom before purchasing. Make sure you press the tank firmly when attaching it to avoid water flow issues. For those who travel frequently, I'd suggest looking at the portable version instead. Also, be aware of the noise level if you share your living space or plan to use it when others are sleeping.

it works
first, let me point out that, I have never used anything to floss my teeth before.A few weeks ago I saw my dentist whom I had not seen for nearly three years due to the covid pandemic.the only reason I went this time was because I had broken a tooth.Imagine for a moment that my dentist was no longer working there and his replacement was an extra from little shop of horrors.this guy chuntered constantly about the extensive plaque around my teeth and why did I not go sooner. My explanation was ignored as he constantly jabbed my mouth with a needle, trying to rip out as much plaque as he could get. very painfully I might add.when he finished he told me that I must use floss.the shape of my teeth makes it impossible for the floss to work and it only ends up jammed between them.I took a chance on purchasing this unit, which at the time, I thought was expensive.the first time I used it I learned very quickly that you do not use it on full pressure, you will make your gums bleed. over time you can increase it to full, but work up to it and make sure that it is at least tepid, if it is cold you will regret it for many hours.I have used it for a month now and to be honest it is really good at getting between the teeth and flushing out all the trapped food and plaque. my next visit to the dentist will tell if it has worked.this seems to have whitened my teeth as well, they always had a slight yellow tinge, but no more.the only negative I can see with using this unit, is it is very messy, especially if you have the tube pointing in the wrong direction. If like me, you struggle with flossing, then give this a go, you won't regret it, you teeth feel so much better afterwards.

Good product
Works well, a bit messy as water spats everywhere, but maybe user error!

Excellent
Having used a battery powered one for a year or so previously, this is definitely a step up. Plenty of power, no annoying recharging and a generous reservoir. The flow is really good and it doesn't take up too much room in the bathroom. It's fairly plasticy, but then it is plastic and lightweight so I'm no going to complain about that as long as the inner workings are durable enough. Been using for a month and it's worked great so far. One tip: make sure after you've filled the reservoir that it's pushed firmly down on the unit. If you don't press it down properly it'll struggle to pull water and sound a but more stressed.

Packs a punch when set to max.
I bought this unit as I had read that mains power connected flossers are more powerful, without trying a battery powered flosser I am happy to say that it is indeed a strong jet of water. Was able to get to some back wisdom teeth that are very difficult to reach and wash out some nooks and crannies to the point that I was spitting blood after the first few uses (ideally I shouldn't be but it's a sign that the product is in fact working well). It loses a star because the lid at the top only has room for four tips. There's six in the box, one stays on the flossing tool so you just have an extra tip strewn about with no place to put it, or am I overlooking something completely obvious?I wouldn't have minded a model with a taller water container as I like to take a little longer cleaning my teeth. The container is separate of the base so maybe that's something I could find if I look around for some 3rd party, generic options.
