Great seller, prime delivery, awesome product. Will buy from again!
I have a 16’ x 32’ vinyl liner inground pool with a spillover spa. We have a lot of parties, between thatand the rain in the summer, our pH gets really low. Along with the pH comes the red itchy eyes. My kidsswim underwater with their eyes open, so keeping the pool water in the right range is important to us. Ifigured I’d give this a try, it was priced right, and had multiple sizes. I bought 1 of the 5 lb. bags Prime. They’re easy to use, and have a resealable top. I used it in the pool, followed the instructions, and itworked as expected. I also used it solely in the spa with the spillover off and it cleared it right up, but Iwish it had spa instructions / dosages to make it easier. I should note that I’ve had a pool for over 10years and my family had a pool since I was a kid. I worked for a pool company in the summers too, so Ihave some experience. This is a quality product, 100% pure Sodium Carbonate, which is excellentconsidering the price. Can’t go wrong. I will order it again. To Sum UpPros: Excellent Price, Pure Product (100% Sodium Carbonate / Soda Ash), Prime DeliveryCons: no dosage chart for spasVerdict: 5 Stars – Great Value – Will buy again"Was this review helpful to you?" if it was please click "YES" below. 100% sodium carbonate not expensive baking soda
This works perfect to adjust my ph. Care should taken as a little goes a long way. I have a 470 gallon hot tub and only 2 heaping teaspoon is enough to bump it up a notch. This is not just expensive baking soda, it’s 100% soda ash. Very effective.

Works fast and well
Very potent and effective at raising both PH and alkaline, just make sure to use as little as you think you’ll need so you don’t have to add acid like me when you over do it...

Works as expected
I've had a hot tub for decades, so I know what it takes and how much it takes to balance it. This works exactly as expected.

Also raises alkalinity
Bought this specifically because it is only supposed to raise ph and not alkalinity. After using it for several days, it is simply not the case. I would use my normal ph reducer to bring alkalinity down and then put this into the spa in an attempt to get the ph back up. It does this fine, but puts me back at square one as raises the alkaline also.

Package does not have good closure system
Same exact ingredient as the expensive version. Package does not have good closure system, so I put this bag inside another, larger bag and closed it with a twist tie. All good.

Did the trick
THis worked very well. Along with a few other chemicals, it cleared up nicely.
