Ok, let's start out with comparisons. The TOM FORD version of this is far superior as in quality, rich and clean leather notes, longevity. Plus it is over $170 for 1.7 oz. You get-what-you-pay-for theme applies. Now the TOSCANO LEATHER is what I might describe as a bit rawer leather scent, with woody campfire undertones. Totally different from the TF version, but that is not a bad thing. Coming in MUCH cheaper than TF, the TOSCANO does last long and definitely gives you a smoky masculine leather scent. Having both on hand, I use the TOSCANO as a daily cologne, and the TF as that special night one (yeah, the $$$ thing applies here). Overall, for the price it is GOOD! And coming in a 2.7 oz you can pump a couple more squirts and make it last all day long.

idk what Ombre Leather smells like since all the fragrance stores never have it available to test but THIS smells like you're a 19th century millionaire sitting in a leather chair in a gentleman's lounge, sipping on whiskey and smoking a cigar while talking about geopolitical affairs.As far as the scent profile, it smells strongly of leather and amber for a couple hours, moves through frankincense quickly and ends on raspberry. It's not too oily and lasts a very long time. To my nose, it goes well with tobacco, cinnamon, patchoulli, and cedarwood-based scents and I typically avoid strongly citrus or ambergris: it's not a light, clean, or youthful, it's masculine and powerful.

I've had this product before and it was one that you knew to spray with caution because it was strong and long lasting. This time it's scent is gone within 30 minutes. I've asked others if they smell, it, faintly or not at all was the response. I checked the Exp. Date, even contacted Amazon to see if It may have been a third party seller. Nope. I'm guessing the manufacturer either changed the formula or I got a weak one, because this isn't what I had before. Much weaker.

Think of the smell of cheap leather goods from North Africa or Central America. A good way to tell others that you have cats without telling them you have cats.
