Perfection.
“Women fascinate me. They are almost always underestimated, which makes them potentially some of the most lethal opponents.”I think it's safe to say by now that I'm in love with everything about this series. I love the characters, I love the spice, I love the plot and I adore the writing and the twists. The Crocodile finally makes an appearance in this one and what an amazing character he is. I think his background is amazing and yet somehow still so mysterious... creating even more questions about Vane. I loved this one because all of our boys are growing and watching it is fascinating. The schemes in this one are insane everyone wants to work to take down Pan... Tilly let's the Crocodile in on Pan's biggest secret. A secret which proves important to Hook as well. This book was just plan after plan with big reveals. Reveals that were amazing and intense. I honestly don't know how to talk about these books without ruining anything. It's so difficult. Winnie is for sure the star in this book. The cliffhanger in this one was completely unexpected and super intense. I honestly can't wait to see what comes next.

Loved this one
This one was great. Getting to see the relationships between Win and Vane and Win and Pan grow stronger was awesome. The new characters from the darklands also added a lot to the plot and opened it up.

4.5-stars: 'Their Vicious Darling' by Nikki St. Crowe
The third book in Nikki’s St. Crowe’s Dark Peter Pan Retelling, Their Vicious Darling released at the beginning of September. I had been counting down to the day this book was released, especially after reading The Dark One and how Nikki St. Crowe left readers hanging with that crazy, dark cliffhanger. I needed to know what happened to Winnie, and I wanted to know how the Vicious Lost Boys were going to handle the new darling.Storyline/My Thoughts: Nikki St. Crowe opens up the third book with the Crocodile’s POV, and I was excited to meet Vane’s brother, Roc finally. He was mentioned in the last book, and I needed to know his character; I loved that Nikki gave us his POV. I thought Vane was scary. No, Roc takes the place of one to not mess with in this series. You may get devoured whole if his time runs out. Captain Hook is even petrified of him, and we all know why by the Disney original story, but Nikki gives us a twist with her dark retelling of Peter Pan. I’m all for Roc and Hook’s relationship maybe growing into something else, especially with the scenes that Nikki wrote with these two. Please, Nikki. I need this story to happen.Enough with talking about Roc, though. He was not the main focus of this book, or was he? 😉This book had a lot more drama, action, and violence. Not only with what happened to Winnie but with the royal Darkland family wanting Vane’s shadow again and Bash and Kas’s sister wanting to unalive Peter Pan. Why is everyone wants Peter Pain dead? Leave him alone in peace. He finally got his shadow back, and he is starting to show another side of himself, especially when it comes to his Winnie. I was all for reading that Peter Pan has a soft side that involves being romantic. I do prefer his alpha, protective, dark side, though. What can I say? I love the dark anti-heroes, and each one of the Vicious Lost Boys holds a piece of my heart. Vane first, Peter Pan second, and then the twins. There seemed to be less spice in this book from the previous books, but one particular scene held its own when I read it. Regarding spice with Nikki, it doesn’t matter how many spicy scenes are in the book, but how she can up what she did in the previous books between the characters. In the scene where Vane tells Winnie to run, he mentions that the first to get to her gets to choose the hole. Hotness overload, and Winnie got to experience it.Be prepared to be left hanging again when you read this book. I’m anxiously waiting again for the next book to release. I need more of these characters, and I need to know what happens next. I also need more of Roc and Hook. Hint, hint to the fabulous Nikki St. Crowe on giving us more POVs with them. I also need a lot more of my favorite, who happens to be Vane. What happened to him in this book had me on the edge of my seat, and I loved who saved him in the long run.Overall, I give the third installment 4.5 stars and can’t wait to read where Nikki takes us next in her dark Peter Pan retelling.Standalone or Part of Series: It’s part of the Vicious Lost Boys series, and I highly recommend reading in order.Trope(s)/Element(s): Reverse Harem. Why Choose. Peter Pan Dark Retelling. Touch Her and I’ll Unalive You. Touch Him and I’ll Unalive You Too.Would I recommend this book? Yes. I highly recommend this book to readers who love the classic tale of Peter Pan, but instead of the Disney version, you get a darker version where Winnie doesn’t need to choose because she can have all the morally grey MMCs in this retelling.Favorite Quote(s): “I’ve missed the light and I’m missed the warmth, but both pale in comparison to you, Darling.”Women fascinate me. They are almost always underestimated, which makes them potentially some of the most lethal opponents.

Loved my men🖤 Not so much the writing
Just like the first 2 books, storyline intrigued me. Loved the fighting scenes, the smut was great, and I just love seeing the connection between all the main characters🤎Didn’t enjoy reading the extra POV’s as much, Cherry’s POV just irked me every time where I truly believe it’s not necessary to read continuously, maybe even ROC’s as well.I loved reading Vane’s character development sooo much and I definitely liked how Winnie’s character changes as well!🖤 I’m intrigued to see how the story ends with book 4. This definitely is a “cozier” read as the writing does have its flaws but just reading it throughout, there is something enjoyable about the books.Don’t take my 3 ⭐️ as an assumption of it being a bad read if I can be precise it’d be a 3.7⭐️ Because of the extra POV’s, writing style, and the storyline being shifty with the twins dealing with stuff, peter pans history, Vane’s history, and then throwing in more characters all in one short book.

Started slow, but hooked me towards the end
After the 2nd book, I was super excited to dive into this one. Truthfully? The first few chapters didn't really cut it for me. I just wasn't interested in the Croc enough, I guess. BUTTTTTT. I kept going after a short break and couldn't put it down. The 2nd half of the book definitely keeps you on your toes and is Soo sooooo good. I enjoyed it a lot..so far the 1st & 3rd (this book) are my favorites.

great short series
This series is actually great compared to the very first book. I enjoy the multiple povs and I’m ready to see what happens next. Very interesting take on Peter Pan and love the creativity.

viciously amazing
I have SO MANY QUESTIONS. Is the shadow going to hurt Wendy? Will she be able to survive with it? Is she kin to hook?!I was wondering what was going to happen after cherry went and tried to be shady and get rid of Wendy all because she is obsessed with vane and he’s obsessed with Wendy. Then I get hit with information that makes me question everything. Also would that mean that cherry tried to 💀 her own niece 😳 cause I mean what she did was crappy enough but if that’s the case she just won the award for worst aunt ever😂I am also very intrigued about Roc and Hook 👀But that ending?! Holy crap I didn’t see that coming AT ALL 😨5/5⭐️’s3.5/5🌶️’s

Book 3 does not dissapoint!!
Honestly, these books have unlocked something in me! I never knew how much I needed a dark re-telling like this. Not only is the action evidently dark and delicious, but the story line has been so intruing! It paints all of the characters in a new light - all the way from Pand & the lost boys to Smee & Hook!!I realy didnt know what to expect when Darling took on the Shadow at the end of the last book, but I love that it seems to have brought her clsoer to Vane - like it has helped them relate to one another & giving Darling the strength to take Vane on!! I cannot wait for more from this world and these characters!!

Quote: “Women fascinate me. they are almost always underestimated, which makes them potentially some of the most lethal opponents.” Roc (The crocodile).

What a ride!
I cannot even begin to express how much I love this series and how I don’t want it to end.The character development for all the characters is just amazing and so natural and real. You feel their pain, joy, anger, disappointment. Everything in the highest degree and it just tugs at your heart strings and you can’t help it.I have grown so attached to these characters and I feel like I’ve grown with them. The storyline is absolutely incredible. There is no detail missed, no stone unturned and no emotion left out. You feel everything so deeply. I devoured( pun intended Roc) this book in less than a day and I literally can’t wait to get to the next book and see what plays out.Nikki is just so amazing at what she does and I am in constant awe of the absolute raw talent and imagination that she possesses.
