The Winbee folks in Kentucky have one of the best product wrapping systems I have ever seen. Each of the pieces of the holder were individually wrapped, sealed and taped, right down to the package of the four screws. Although smallish, the screws could hold the fixture with no wind, such as an indoor setting, but for an outdoor mounting up here in Minnesota with our winds, I substituted 4 inch Phillips screws. This product is very nicely made, and if needed, I will get another from this great people at Winbee.

This bracket is terrible! The teeth do not engage deeply enough to hold the position you want, no matter how tightly you make the screws. Then when the wind blows, they move around against each other until they eventually pop out of the position and the flag goes right off the end. Eventually the gear inside the bracket broke into pieces. The bracket was totally destroyed after my second Santa Ana windstorm, barely a month after getting it installed. I replaced it with a fixed 2-position bracket that has been just fine in even stronger winds.

This worked great for about a year and then the pole snapped off the base. Tried fixing it and couldn't. I do live close to Lake Erie and sometimes it is very windy. I never thought it would break. It seemed solid. Now I have a flag pole and nothing to hold it.

Bought it because it was the same mount hole size. It broke in the wind the same as my last one did in less than a week.

Great in most respects, but I purchased two and neither of them has the drainage hole as pictured. That was an important feature in my decision to buy this particular flag holder, so a bit disappointed with the false advertising.

Can't tell if it holds up with the wind here. I bought this holder for backup for my two bracket. I would recommend this product.

I ordered this holder twice. And twice the holder broke. I fly a 4 x 6 American flag on a pole that I ordered from Amazon. I can only conclude that the wind moving the flag puts too much stress on the holder. I recommend that you choose another holder.

I purchased a replacement for one that cracked after a few years. It cracked on a moderately windy day but....
