CHANFOK Ceiling Fan with Remote Control Flush Mount Modern Indoor 19.7" LED Dimmable Low Profile Ceiling Fans ,Smart 3 Light Color Change and 6 speeds

After looking at a few different models I decided to go for the Chanfok 20" fan. The price is slightly more expensive than competitors, however it seemed as though a lot of reviews on cheaper models were free products given out to test. The Chanfok 20" fan is amazing. I really love gadgets and this is definitely one of my best purchases to date. It looks sleek and modern. The build quality is excellent, and despite what other reviews might say, it's very easy to install, and most certainly doesn't require 2 people. As long as you leave 2 of the screws in the base (the 2 screws that go into the twist slots - you'll understand what i mean if you buy one) then you won't have an issue. You can use these to support the fan while installing the other 2 screws. In total it took me 10 minutes to install. I would recommend purchasing a wire block connector as they only include connector caps in the box, which i don't think are a very reliable method of connecting 2 wires together. Luckily there happened to be one in the existing light fitting that I was replacing. The functionality of the fan is excellent. You can adjust the temperature and brightness of the light (which goes very bright!). You can also quick select day and night modes. There are 6 fan speeds in total, and the fan is reversible, meaning it can blow air down, as well as sucking it up. The app was very easy to connect to. Simply switch the fan on at the wall switch, then press the Bluetooth button in the app within 5 seconds to pair. It pairs instantly and works very well. It's very responsive with no lag at all. This is not a paid review, nor did I receive the product for free. Overall I'd highly recommend this fan. You could say "I'm a big fan" of this product.

I’m quite experienced with putting up lights etc and DIY. I purchased two of these Ceiling fans. They took approx 1 hour per fan to put up. I purchased ‘Terminal Strips’ as the ones supplied in orange, are NOT suitable and should not be used in my view. There is no way to stop the cables slipping out and shorting. But by using the terminal strips, this stops this from happening. The install video does not show the whole installation. It does not show the fact you need to drill 4 holes to support the weight of the fan in to the ceiling. The fans are pretty good and provide a good amount of air movement. The light is really nice and bright. The overall quality feels good. I would recommend these fans.

Bought this item in March '25. Installed it & was very happy. After 6 months the light began to flicker the fan still worked fine. Tonight, 4th May '26, the light blew all the electrics, leaving a burning smell. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM, IT IS DANGEROUS. My sister purchased the same light and had exactly the same dangerous issue!

Easy to install. Very bright light on full. Fan is also very good. Would have given 5 stars, but cable connectors are twist-on, which in the UK are not common cable connectors. You will struggle woth thinker cables. Would advise getting your own screw or clip cable connectors
