When it works...keep using it!!!
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this charger/case. After receiving it I was more than happy and have been using it daily to extend my playtime; excuse me, work time.Of course, it arrived unharmed but the timing couldn't have been better. As I arrived home with a near dead battery I was greeted by (sorry babe) by what I thought was another useful, yet boring portable mobile phone battery. It won my heart from the start by having a semi charged (after giving it it's first charge I have guess it was between ⅔ and full. It was easy to use (I have a drawer full of these things although this version uses usb-c). My first usage included some online work as it was charging and despite not actually timing it, I know it is notably faster than any of the models I have owned prior. I unplugged my Note 8 after it reached around 75% and continued using my device. After several rounds Guns of Boom I was alerted to another low battery warning. I pushed the little button on back (the power button) and viola in what seemed like minutes (j/k but it is fast).ProsConvenient- no need to lug a battery and a cord.5500mah capacity- enough to give a little over a full charge and a halfDoesn't feel much bigger than and otterbox type caseDoesn't obstruct screen or sensorsPrice…(a bargain is a bargain)ConsIt is a little heavier than most cases (which is understandable considering there's a battery in there)It doesn't offer drop or scratch protection (but it wasn't supposed to)The pros are why I love this case. The cons are just the reality that nothing can do everything and shouldn't be expected to.

Great feeling case that effectively doubles your battery life.
This is an excellent phone case for anyone that needs lots of extra battery life. It effectively doubles the battery life of your Note 8. This would be perfect for anyone who works in the field for long hours without access to a charger or for anyone travelling and who doesn’t want to have to deal with plugging in their phone. The charger is simple to use. You just hold in the flush mounted button on the back of the case for two seconds, and boom…it charges your phone. I was able to charge my phone to 100% from 15% in about two hours. Charging the case takes just a little over an hour to get to full power. The case indicates level of charge via a blinking colored LED that changes color as the battery gets charged. It indicates just 4 levels of charge (1-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, and 75-100%). It’s worth noting that it blinks while it is being charged. This may be annoying for anyone sensitive to blinking LED’s, but the level of brightness is not too intense and easy enough to charge with the phone screen facing up if it bothers you. If you plug in the case with the phone in it, it will charge both the case and the phone. The case itself is very good quality. It’s a perfect fit for the Note 8. The buttons for on/off, volume, and Bixby don’t click when you press them which is something I usually like, but they are still responsive and are easy to find in the dark. The surface of the case is excellent and one of the best features. It is smooth so it will easily slide in and out of your pocket, but still just “sticky” enough that if you put it on a slippery surface it won’t slide all over the place and/or slip out of your hand while holding it. It’s also surprisingly low profile for having a built-in battery bank. You can feel the size and weight difference for sure, but it is the type of thing you forget about quickly because of the great feel. The only downside to the case for me was that it is low profile enough that the top lip isn’t raised very far above the surface of the phone on the ends. This means you will get less protection if you were to drop this right on an edge. To be fair, this is also just an unfortunate downside of the Note 8 design with the edge to edge screen, and not necessarily the fault of the case. It is something to be aware of though if screen protection is more important to you than battery life.Overall this is a great buy for anyone looking for a great looking case and in need of doubling their battery life.

Lets see if the seller can change my mind
*The case doesnt charge my phone to 100%*The case also wont turn offUpdated**The charger is making some wierd noises*The charger is not fast charging, as a matter of fact i get constant notifications that my phone is charging slowly.Still no contact from seller so ive lowered my rating from 2 star to 1 star. I hope the seller sees this and contacts me so they can send me a product isn't defective.

Sleek and fast
The case is a sleek matte black and it looks nice on the phone. I do wish it had a little grip on the sides. It goes on fairly easy once you get the hang of it but it takes a little effort to get it off. It fits nice and tight so it may get easier with more use. The back is a hard plastic and the sides are firm rubbery so they have a little cushion and give. The edge at the top and bottom is very slightly raised so it might other a little bit of screen protection if you drop it. It does make the phone bulkier and heavier, if course.I do feel like this one is much more premium than the one I had for my S7 edge. The ports are all easily accessible and the buttons work fine. It is easy to get the stylus out. It's not something that I want to carry around all the time but it sure comes in handy when your phone goes dead. In my job I drive around all day getting in and out of the car all day. We use our phones to communicate a lot and I listen to Spotify all day. I am nit in the car long enough to charge it much and I have to carry it with me all the time, so this case provides the perfect solution. It's also great when we are traveling and when I take a lot of pictures because that really drains the battery.

Great fit, lot's of extra run time
This case is nice because it adds hours of battery life to a phone that already has an impressive battery life. The phone fits perfectly in the case, and it did a great job of protecting my phone when it fell out of my hands on to the concrete. The only downside that I have seen is that it prevents the phone from working with the wireless charger. It's still great for if you are planning on taking lots of videos or pictures, or if you are taking notes on your note all day.
