Collie Buddz

Collie Buddz may not be a household name for some people, but this album (the only album made by him) is pretty much a perfect collection of reggae tunes. I loved every song the first time I listened to this CD. These songs are made to play loud & chill or dance to. Collie Buddz has only this one full CD, but he has collaborated with others, even with Matisyahu! You will not be disappointed with this CD. I promise you!

Great music, great lyrics. The CD is a must for any reggae lover. I live in the Caribbean and listen to a lot of reggae. These days theres a lot of crap out there. This music seems to be accepted by both young and old. Rather dynamic. Trust me! purchase and listen! "Tomorrow's Another Day" alone is worth the price. Clasic.

This CD will need to be replaced due to excess play! OMG, I LOVE several songs on this CD! Heard him on Pandora while sitting in the sun and bought the CD; talk aout excellent driving music!!! It's Island Reggae, took me right to the tropics!! Nuf said!

Received for my birthday and I love it.

This is a good cd. There were several songs I knew I liked and I didn't mind the rest but was looking for a little more reggea style of music and found out this is somewhat r&b.

cool songs, about cool subjects! great Island vibe sound and genuinely fun and easy to groove to! crank it up in your ride and enjoy! see him live if you get the chance! cool performer!

A couple of the songs are pretty good but most are not. Don't be fooled by the sound bites like I was and buy the whole album. "Tommorows another day", "Blind to You", "Come Around", "Sensimilla" and "Let Me Know" are all pretty decent but certainly not epic. The rest of the songs are not very good and a couple are really terrible. More than anything though, you have to admire the courage of the guy's choosen name, lyrical content and talent. The guy's got guts, and that noone can argue. However courage does not an excellent song make. He would do better to focus his talents and his all too rare courage to stick to true roots style reggae songs like the Dr. Bird style riddim found in his hit song "Tommorrows Another Day". If he does that he will go from average to amazing in a very short ammount of time.

I'm not real concrete on the differences between Reggae, Pop, and all other styles in this area, but this album sounds great. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes Sean Paul and other similar artists. In fact, I'd argue he's better than most popular artists in the same genres.

Collie Buddz è uno dei miei cantanti preferiti e questo CD gli rende giustizia. Arrivato addirittura prima rispetto ai tempi previsti e in buone condizioni. Lo consiglio per chi ama un genere reggae in chiave più moderna
