I would mix a few together with their science selective pellets. I previously fed my rats only Oxbow (with snacks of vegetables, fruit, and baby food throughout the day), but all of a sudden they began refusing to even touch their Oxbow so I ended up buying a wide variety of food (both locally and online) and the only hard pellet food they ate graciously was both these lab blocks and their science selective. When it came to end of life care, I would grind these lab blocks into a powder and mix it together with baby food and unflavored Pedialyte and syringe feed my fur baby. So thank you for allowing my son to pass on more at ease with a full belly. 🙏🌈🐀

I got these for my Syrian hamster after giving her subpar food for a month. I began to do some deep research on hamsters and realized her diet left much to be desired. I now give her these Teklad pellets mixed with higgens sunburst, some mealworms, dried chicken and fresh and dried fruits and veggies (and a few little snacks). The Teklad is the one that she will always pick out of her dish and I find them half chewed in her hide. She doesn’t seem to like the higgens (sans the sunflower seeds which she loves) but does love the Teklad so I am a happy hammy mom.It has a high protein count and just the right amount of everything for a healthy hamster so it’s a great choice for a pellet. It’s made for lab rats-so they give them a scientific amount to foster healthy growth to make sure they have the healthiest specimens to work with (sad but true). So I know it’s the best choice. These are individually packaged bags of food-seller buys a large quantity from Teklad and puts them in smaller bags to ship to individual customers. It does come with a print out of all the nutritional facts and the package came to me in about 4 days. Overall two thumbs up from me and from Waffles the hammy.

Well balanced meal. I give them two types- they prefer this one. So leave the other for them to snack on during the night.

The price is reasonable. MY pets love the flavor and eat them all up, What they don't eat they hide for later

The squirrels, picky little bunch they are, will take a quick sniff and scamper off. Disappointed for them. I really would like to find something. I need more than Henrys blocks.

My boys love ‘em! Comes with a photocopy of the nutrition facts. Quality food blocks and they are sealed air tight. Keep the in the refrigerator (not the freezer) to extend freshness!
