Roller String Trees String Tree Guide Retainer,4 Bolt Neck Plate Plain and Loaded Jack Socket Plate, Black

They seem to be shorting everyone one the string trees.I put the jack plate on a 95 MIM Strat. Had to drill out the hole on the plate a little and must use the nut I took off to fit the old jack. Different size threads on the new jack. If you're using the new jack just ignore all of the above. 13 mm socket fit the nut.Also put on the neck plate & screws.

Nice parts for the money

There are multiple parts, so a quick review of each:Neck plate and screws - These parts work well and look surprisingly good.String tree guides and screws - Oddly, there are two in the set, but both are tall. On Squire - type instruments where two trees are used, the B/E tree is often lower than the D/G. This was the case with my instrument and I'm not 100% convinced the break angle is good on the B/E tree - it looks too shallow withe the tall tree. On the other hand, I haven't seen any bad effects.Loaded jack socket plate - Only using the plate itself and not the jack, but the finish is rough and not nearly as good as the neck plate.

As many have noted, the "roller" string trees may leave some to be desired. One of the two I received, one required some filing and polishing of the grooves, as the casting was poor. The tolerances are less than "close". That being said, all other components were as good as one might expect from imported parts.In the black finish, these worked well on a Racing Green strat. with high-end components.

Black Hardware on a white body . Looks nice, and works too.

Used to upgrade my squier stratocaster. Just for the fun of it. Sounds great.

The Jack Plate, neck heal plate and roller trees are fine. The hardware however, is terrible. I had three screws break off in my head stock. I had to grind them down carefully, and slightly move the string trees forward. I used stainless Hardware instead of the hardware provided, and it turned out fine. Don't use their screws!
