2 in 1 Steel Body Pole Tree Pruner Head

I took off the previous head that was made of plastic and replaced it with this one. It was a perfect fit and all three screws did not require any drilling.

I had to make modifications to it. The metal that goes around the pole kept loosening, I would screw it down tight and the metal would bend. I finally had to tape it place so it wouldn't pivot. The rope provided was ridiculously short. An 8ft. rope for a 15 ft. extension pole? I had to add a length of rope with a loop at the end. The blade would jam after cutting, I had to pull to pull it open on a branch if I wanted to continue cutting and not lower it and go up again. Unless you are a problem solver, I would not recommend it. With the modifications, I was able to get my trees trimmed. By hook and crook.

I had a 20ft alum pole that I wanted to mount this on for high pruning. The saw works fine. The trimmer takes effort on thicker limbs and rope can jam in rollers.

I ordered this to replace the head of an old pruner that was bent. This worked out just fine and will be of great use this fall.

This pruner head work ok, but steel seems to be a little thin for the price.

Fit perfect on fiberglass pole I already had, screw hole near perfectly matched. Have used it to trim several trees with great success. No real complaints.

This was a great repair for my 16' pole saw!!
