I’m sorry. I really don’t know. The scissors themselves are not marked with any “made in ____” & I no longer have the package. They do have Karen Kay Buckley’s signature stamped on one of the blades. And. I absolutely love them.

Is the 6 inch size the best for applique work?

I would use the 6" size for appliqué work and light cutting. I have 2 of each size of Karen Kay Buckley scissors,4", 6", and 7". I don't ever want to be without a pair. They are the best I have ever used.

Are the handles big enough to fit all your fingers? The small size only fits 2 of mine which makes them harder to use.

The handles fit my first 3 fingers, and for a woman, I have large hands. They are comfortable to use with good control.

Do these scissors have a nonstick coating by chance?

No, there is no coating on the scissors but the blades are slightly serrated and they cut like butter! I have all of her scissors and love each one.
