Light. Durable. Stylish. Awesome.
The utensils are a comfortable size, approximately 3/4 the length of normal utensils. The spoon holds exactly 1 fluid teaspoon (yes, I measured), just in case you need to measure out something. They are all incredibly light (the chopsticks feel almost non-existent), and fairly sturdy for their relative thickness. They are somewhat flexible, and could bend under enough pressure, but certainly not under normal eating usage. Probably not pure, high-grade titanium, but that's ok for this application. The carabiner is a thoughtful addition that does keep them from rattling if you want to hang them from a pack. The locking screw fits into a grooved hole at the handle-end.The least important part of the kit, the carrying box, is where there any notable issues. As others have said, the box is somewhat flimsy. But it is still usable. The real issues have to do with fitting everything inside. You have to arrange everything •just so• or the spoon or fork will rise too high and make putting on the top difficult. And you can't put the carabiner on and still store everything in the box. I found that laying the spoon face down, with the fork face down on top of it, presented the lowest rise.Overall, a splendid cutlery set and one that I am very pleased with.

great little set :)
I bought this cutlery set specifically because it came with a carabiner clip to keep all the pieces together, which I can then attach to a metal loop on my tiffin lunch box and take everything to work as one nice, neat little package. No more rummaging around for plastic cutlery in the break room! Note that the chopsticks cannot be fastened to the carabiner - only the fork, spoon and knife. But I rarely use chopsticks anyway. The fork, spoon and knife also can be screwed together with the brass grommet on the carabiner so that they don't clatter around while you're carrying them. The titanium finish does scratch easily so don't expect the pieces to stay lustrous and polished forever, but the titanium is strong and lightweight - no bending or breaking. I have not used the green plastic carrying case, but it might be useful if I ever decide to use the chopsticks for sushi or something.

Useless box
We'll start with the bad. While everything comes in the box, once you unpackage and assemble the knife/fork/spoon with the nut, they no longer fit in the box. Also the lid just slips on with no catch or ridge to hold it on. So that went right in the bin. The D-ring is okay but I don't see myself using it. I haven't yet had use for the knife but i'm not sure it would be good for much more than spreading butter. It seems pretty dull and sharpening titanium isn't the easiest thing. I carry an actual knife on me so I'm considering just removing this from the kit. The chopsticks are short which makes them easy to carry but a little awkward to use. I knew that going in and one of the reasons I wanted this kit was the short chopsticks. I have full-length Ti chopsticks and they're great to use but awkward to carry, so these are the reverse. Ti is an awesome material for chopsticks though. The fork and spoon are functional and have decent "mouth feel". No complaints about them at all. It won't take much to knock up a case with some scrap neoprene material that I have and then I'll have a fork, spoon, and chopsticks to travel with wherever I go. A little expensive maybe but there's no reason they shouldn't last for decades.

If you appreciate the value of titanium, totally worth the $$$.
I really love it. Very high quality set that nests in a not-so-high quality plastic container, but is adequate; I'll probably swap that out at some point. Regardless, the actual titanium pieces really ROCK and no regrets on this purchase. This set looks so good that if there wasn't the holes in the end pieces you could set it out as regular dinner table cutlery. As it stands it's perfect for my desk at work so I don't have to eat with plastic forks anymore.I love the serrated edge on the knife; it's not a steak knife but it t really has some bite to it and cuts meat fairly well. No problems with the spoon or fork; I love how they look. The chopsticks are my favorite part of the set. Smaller then traditionally sized sticks but that is perfect so they can all nest together in the container. The big question: is it worth the money? Really, I could have grabbed a normal stainless set from my kitchen drawer at home. Well, if you buy into the theory that titanium cookware is healthier then eating from plastic, steel, or aluminum, then yes. It's totally worth it. If you are a backpacker who wants to cut down on their pack weight a bit; yes again it's worth it. If you enjoy having a very light and like the look of titanium utensils; yes, it is totally worth it. I'm looking at it as a "treat yo'self" kind of purchase with the caveat that I think titanium hss some health benefits worth investing in. Some people won't appreciate those points and for that group I say then titanium isn't for you: just grab a plastic or regular metal set and call it a day: no blame, no foul. I however am LOVING this purchase!

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have had my BRIOST Cutlery set for over a year and have absolutely loved it. The cutlery doesn't stain and is super easy to clean. I keep it in my bag and use it almost daily. There has been no warping or damage to the utensils, they hold up great! They are also lightweight so it doesn't feel like I am carrying a brick around in my purse. I recently lost my fork that went with this set and contacted the company to see if I could buy a replacement fork. The customer service is awesome! They are sending a replacement free of charge. If you are looking to buy titanium cutlery for backpacking or everyday use. I highly recommend going with this one. BRIOST was prompt with responding to my inquiry. and by the looks of their awesome customer service, I'm sure they will handle any issues that could possibly go wrong with their product. I wish more companies took the time and initiative to take care of their customers.
