Headwinds 8-9032-H4 H4 LED Headlight Bulb

This replaced the earlier version which had a fan on the end of the bulb assembly & a separate brain box. Much easier to install in the stock housing than the 1st version & almost half the price too! I got 4 years out of that one & expect this one to last much longer. I used a halogen bulb while I was waiting for this and there's no comparison.When you only have one headlight you need all the help you can get & Headwinds is a fantastic product. Not only is it bright but it throws a wider pattern. If you don't change anything else on your bike at least get one of these (and a louder horn too!)

First, I did not buy this from Amazon. I bought it at a local shop where I used to work. I have gone through NUMEROUS bulbs from different sources. Some worked but were not bright enough. Some had terrible light patterns. Some had a fairly good low beam but a nearly no high beam. Some were just crap! This light is the first one that I have seen that all around WORKS! Great full coverage low beam that lights up not only the road but the sides of the road. A high beam that is wide, flat and extends down the road. Simply the best LED light that I have found. Having said all this I will mention that you will probably have to readjust your light to get the best results. Also you may have to reverse, turn it over in the mount, the light to get the proper coverage. Highly recommended. BTW, this is mounted in a VTX1800C UPDATE: That review was about a bulb that I purchased earlier. The VTX was totaled a few weeks ago. I told the insurance company that there was something that I wanted off the bike.....this bulb! It and another one are now in my new Triumph and I stand by my review. I know that there are hundreds of bulbs to choose from. I know because I have a box full of them. THIS ONE WORKS!!
