This is raspberry pi 5 inch touch display case

Almost a perfect fit with a Raspberry Pi 3B
I picked up this case after realizing making my own would be a bit too much effort than I cared to put in. The case did not come with instructions, but it was super easy to put together regardless. It had precisely two issues, both of which were fairly simple to address. The first: On my TFT screen, one of the mount screws (The top/right when viewing from the back) is fairly close to a component on the board. In order to get the standoff into the hole in the case, I had to shave a small amount of the case back to account for that component. Trimming acrylic isn't the easiest thing to do with a hobby knife, but if I had bothered to go get a better tool it would have taken no time at all. And, if you don't want/need this standoff there, then it's not an issue as the case will flex the tiny amount, and you won't even notice. The second issue: There's about a two-millimeter overlap between the back of the ethernet port and the back panel of the case. The case lines up perfectly with the USB ports, but the ethernet is just a little bit longer. Incidentally, this is the same area as the first issue. This is also the thinest portion of the case back, and snapping this whole piece off makes the Pi fit as it should. And, as it is in the back of the case, it's not something that's going to be seen. Again, had I bothered to get the proper tools I could have trimmed down the area and had the Pi fit nicely without destructive modifications to the case.In all, a solid case, especially for the money. Modifications were easy, even when I was being lazy and not wanting to get the proper tools. A few moments with a rotary tool would have taken care of the issues super quick. While I don't think I'll be purchasing this again, that is more due to the fact that the screens I'd be using are going to be either larger or smaller than the one this was designed for and not because of any failings on this case.

decent enclosure, but poorly packaged so some thin pieces may ship broken
At the time I purchased this, it was the smallest enclosure for this Elecrow RPA05010R HDMI 5-Inch 800x480 TFT LCD Display with Touch Screen Monitor for Raspberry Pi B+/2B/3B screen which I purchased, and the cheapest. So despite the negative reviews I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did. However, there are a few issues so I can understand why some people gave it a 1-star review. It's clearly a DIY product, so don't expect anything so refined. It comes with no instructions so you have to take a minute and try lining up the pieces in a few ways before you find which way works. There are only 3 main plastic pieces (plus the 2 feet, so 5 total) so it's not difficult. The back piece is meant to go over the circuit board on the back of the screen, and it has one fairly thin plastic segment. In my case, it had snapped at that thin segment. I would say it's too thin for glue to hold it in place long-term, so I didn't bother. Luckily both sides of the snapped piece had screw holes for attaching it to the rest of the enclosure, so once it was all put together there were no loose pieces. Also, part of this back piece was too close to one of the inductors on the circuit board so I had to file it down first. Maybe that was specific to the screen I have, so I wouldn't knock off a point for this.Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I was initially somewhat upset when I saw the broken piece, but once installed it really wasn't a big deal. If any more pieces besides that one piece were broken, I'd probably have returned it.

Honest review from North Carolina
Before buying this I went through and read all the reviews and I've gotta say I almost didn't buy it. But because it was the only one I could find that would fit a 5in screen I took the $15 gamble and bought one anyway.. and my honest opinion I'm really glad that I did. Mine came on time with everything,, and nothing was damaged! Idk if I got lucky or if they upgraded there 3d printing but it fills solid especially once I put it all together.. the only down side I see in this is- with my setup I have a selfpowered sub hub that holds a 4000mah battery that connects to the back of the pi. So the downside to this unit is the feet are too small to really stabilize the weight that I added to the back. Of course this isn't their fault because with the pie it self it's perfectly sturdy but I would have really liked it if the feet extended further under the unit to help support more weight.. besides that I am completely happy with this purchase, and based off the quality of the one I got I would highly recommend anyone looking for a case to buy this!

Poor quality, original and replacement both broken on delivery
Extremely cheap construction, came broken in package, returned for replacement, replacement was also broken in the same spot, the price is awful high for the quality even if it wasnt broken.
