Works perfect
This replacement part for my Black and Decker jigsaw model number js510g fits and works perfect. I did have to tap it in a little bit but the problem could have been on my jigsaw and not the actual part. The blade is nice and straight now and doesn't wobble. Cuts nice and straight also and holds the saw blade tight. Thank you very much for selling this part for only $10 while other people are trying to get $30 for them. If this part was more than $20 I would not have purchased it I would have just bought a new jigsaw.

It wasn't supposed too
This fit my old back & decker js200 type 3 with a little grinding. It wasn't supposed to. But I knew that going in.

Good repair part.
Make sure your using sharp blades to prevent placing strain on the keeper assembly. Removal of the old unit is easy and install of the replacement is fairly simple.

Nice part
It wasn't supposed to fit, but they discontinued the replacement part for my J200. A little filing, and a few taps with a tack hammer, and it went on snugly. I too wish it came with replacement screws, but I got new ones from my local hardware store. I gotta wonder why other sellers are getting 2 to 3 times more $$ for this?I'm very pleased that I got my saw repaired.
