U.S. Chess Quiver Chess Set Combination - Triple Weighted

Extra pieces? My wife got me this set but somehow it's missing a pawn.

saw photos in review of mat creases. we're looking for chess sets for 3rd grade classroom. will get heavy use. will this mat crease or not?

I assume the mat is just rolled and slipped into the bag, but what about the pieces? is there an insert that keeps the pieces from hitting eachother?

Is the back of the board lined with cloth? Thanks
