Underwater Treasures Pitted Rock Wall - Medium

The media could not be loaded. This artificial rock wall looks real and feels real!. It looks amazing in my 29 gallon tall aquarium.I originally purchased it with dwarf cichlids in mind, however I decided to use it in a community set up.My fish are enjoying it, it looks natural, it’s well-made and I highly recommend it if this is the look that you are going for, a more natural look.The only thing I didn’t like was all of the white small tiny Styrofoam packing balls that come out of it from the inside and outside and go everywhere.What I did was take it out carefully shake it out in the trash, then I ran it underwater and soaked it several times. I did this until I saw no more white foam balls coming out from the inside.It worked like a charm, a little time-consuming and annoying but again it’s worth it!

So I bought 2 of these, this one and the smaller one. I put them in my 75G aquarium and within a month they are fading to white😟 which really stinks because these are awesome structures and they look amazing when the paint is good. Unfortunately I'm out of my return time( Go figure) so that's a big bummer for me but maybe you can find out if they're using better paint now before purchasing. I give it 3 stars only because of the paint issue. If the paint would hold up these would definitely be 5 stars no question. Wish mine lasted longer.

Just starting a new salt tank and ran across this when looking for decorations. It is the perfect size for one side of my 40 gallon tank. I have real rocks that I'm building into a scape, but really liked the look of this as well. Almost thought of just getting several more and not bother with real rock. Not ideal for several reasons. But even if I don't keep it in the tank, it will become a decoration around the tank.

who's galaxy brained idea was it to use the cheapest styrofoam possible for shock cushioning a fake rock? That stuff got everywhere! It was like I ordered a box of static cling confetti. It's not like it's a heavy item that would bounce around and damage itself if you just used some cardboard standoffs. Seriously, I spent like 30 minutes trying to get all the little bits out of the rock. Hope I got it all since my dumb fish will definitely try to eat that stuff if I give them the chance.

Isn’t made for salt water tanks, made of plastic so it doesn’t have the pores to build beneficial bacteria. I returned and bought life rock. Although this product looks like life rock it’s made from plastic. Would not recommend for salt water.

I’ve used this rock in both freshwater and saltwater tanks. It’s lightweight (compared to real rocks) and sturdy. The finish has never peeled - it doesn’t even look like a “finish” - it looks like it was fresh out of the mold with realistic color and no rough edges. No flaking, no dangerous hidey holes. I lent mine to a client (I work for an Aquarium Maintenance Company) so am getting more. It’s seahorse proof, frog proof, betta proof and probably everything-else proof. This is the best natural accent decor I’ve purchased.

Center piece in planted community discus tank. Absolutely gorgeous!! Love the color and textures. Perfect size for my 44 gallon tank. Pairs well with driftwood. Not closed off to inside of structure. Peacock gudgeons use inside as breeding cave, so its useful. Highly recommend!!

The media could not be loaded. So I had this piece in my tank for a few months and it’s beautiful but theirs lots of places that fish can get stuck and die unfortunately I had this happen with 3 Molly fish. So if the person who designed these could plug some of those inner tunnels it would save some fish… the fish loves the tunnels don’t get me wrong but then they got stuck and couldn’t get out then died there… other than that it’s a great piece I might have to find a way to fill in the holes myself.
