SELPHY CP1500 Compact Photo Printer White

I absolutely love this little photo printer! One of the first things I noticed is how cute and modern it looks. It’s compact, simple, and doesn’t take up much space, which makes it perfect to keep at home or move around easily. ✨ It’s also very portable and practical, and the photo quality honestly surprised me in the best way. The pictures come out looking very vibrant, colorful, and almost professional. The colors are vivid and the prints have a really nice finish that makes memories feel extra special. Another thing I liked is that it’s very easy to use and set up. Printing photos from the phone feels quick and convenient, so it makes the whole experience fun and simple. Something I also appreciated is that the printer includes a small starter pack with the first purchase, which is really helpful to begin using it right away. Mine came with around 15–17 photo sheets and one ink cartridge. After that, you do need to purchase the larger replacement packs separately, which include additional photo paper and ink cartridges. I’m also leaving a picture of the refill box for reference because that part is purchased separately. One thing to know is that it does need to stay connected to a power outlet while using it, so it’s not completely wireless in that sense. But honestly, that hasn’t been a problem for me because it’s still very compact and easy to place anywhere. Overall, this is such a useful and enjoyable little printer to have at home. It’s practical, aesthetic, easy to use, and perfect for printing personal memories in a beautiful way. Definitely one of my favorite small tech purchases! 📸✨

I had been waiting to get this photo printer for awhile. I first got paper and the ink cartridges for this cause i didnt realize it was a specialty paper. After getting it and looking at what the selphy was I committed to buying it. It took months but I did finally get it. Pros- picture quality is amazing Its versatile as it can be used at outdoor events with a decent battery life (battery not included) or indoors on its power cable The instructions are clear for how to use it The device is reliable Dont have to worry about spilling ink or messy cartridges. Cons- It was weird trying to connect this to my camera The wireless connectivity slows down the printing process Photos need to do four passes to print, which while cool looking, does slow down any bulk printing.

I was really pleasantly surprised with this portable photo printer. Pro: Practically plug and play. Setup is easy and connected to my iPhone on the first try. If you plan to print directly from your iPhone, download the SELPHY app for easy photo layout. The app is also very easy to use and makes layouts for photos easy to setup. Easy to upload photos from phone to app and to print. Prints individual photos very quickly as well. Since this is not an inkjet, you can touch the output immediately without smearing the front. Option for glossy, semi matte or matte photo finishes. There is a decent selection of cute graphics and stamps to add to your photo outputs. Con: The photo output tends to have an overexposed, washed out look for daytime photos. Nighttime or darker background photos tend to look more vibrant. The printer itself is small but surprisingly heavy (solidly built). Frankly, for the price. I’m super happy with the product. If you’re looking for pro quality prints or something to display at home, still print on laserjet or inkjet printer or send it out to be printed professionally. But for a quick print and casual use. This is perfect! Love it.

I will admit that I am an amateur photographer. I ended up at a point however where all I did was post a small amount of my photos from my Panasonic LUMIX G9 edited in Lightroom and the rest were lost in a hard drive purgatory. This printer however is a game changer. It gave second life to the photos that were lost in the hard drive and gave me a reason to comb through my photos for ones that I felt were worth printing. It also gave a new perspective when I took photos of how I wanted to frame them for small printing. This also was perfect for printing family photos. Now the justifications of the printer are out of the way on to the actual review of the printer. The printer is compact. I don’t have the battery pack. I use it at my desk. I would agree that it is compact and not portable. It’s small and you could bring it with you places, but the cord and the actual setup is a tad bulky and cumbersome. As far as the print results- they are great. For comparison, I have and instax mini printer. While that printer did produce cute photos I that I would give away, it was something that didn’t produce accurate colors and there was a lot of loss of detail. This printer has none of those issues. The colors seem quite accurate and it prints are of good quality.Every thing comes out clear. The app is quick and responsive on my iPhone 16. The print quality to price ratio seem just right. I love the convenience of being able to print out single photos without having to commit to sending in a bunch of photos from a site or store. This is worth purchase. Don’t hesitate on buying.

This little printer is such an awesome tool. It prints pictures right from my iphone 17 using the app from the app store. It was a little tricky figuring out how to rotate pictures landscape at first because I think there’s a slight software glitch that skips the editing phase on my iphone 17, but if you just go back a step then you can edit the picture by rotating it or cropping it. I’m going to buy this printer for my sister for christmas. I’m obsessed. My only complaint is that I cant find the printer paper sold alone. I see it sold with ink only. I just have to look harder because the printer comes with 5 printer papers to start, and each ink cartridge holds about 54 to 50 prints worth of ink, so it becomes off balance where you have more ink than printer paper. It was also so easy to set up. I love this printer so much!!! It’s like I have a photo store right in my home! Bye bye disposable camera. Hello at home technology! I’m shocked this printer isnt more popular.

Horrible experience with this Selphy CP1500 model. I have the Selphy printers model CP900, CP1200, and two CP1300 in the past and they were wonderful! No complains. I had printed thousands of photos over the years with those good old printers, Now with the latest CP1500 model, I can't connect it to my PC or Mac and print out photos from my laptops. The new CP1500 DOES NOT HAVE a dedicated Windows driver nor an app or any software that can help you connect the Selphy CP1500 printer to your laptop (PC or MAC). It takes several tries to connect the CP1500 via WIFi or USB C cable to the laptop. And even when it gets connected, the printer setup window does not give you the option to choose the correct photo paper size 4' x 6" (The printer comes with that paper size inside the box but It does not exist in the menu settings!) and for some reason the photos are printed in grayscale instead of color. Canon support page does not help at all and the customer service confirms that Canon does not have a driver for Windows and they just say that we need to use the useless "Selphy Photo Layout" app from a smartphone. Terrible. Printing photos from my smartphone means, i have to first transfer the photos from my computer to the phone or to a SD card in order to use the printer. Why? BTW, they recommend upgrading the printer firmware but it does not solve the problem. If you are planning to buy one of this CP1500, as of May 2026, and planning to connect it to your computer, don't waste your time or money or sanity. Check the discussion forums online to see that this is a real problem for lots of people ever since the CP1500 came out around 2024 and it doesn't look like Canon have any intention to remedy this issue. Very disappointed with Canon after so many years of being a loyal customer of their cameras and photo printers.

Really love this little printer. I've used it a few times before I'd purchased for myself. I'm trying to print more pictures instead of storing everything on my phone and this works well. I don't think there is any cost savings over getting Shutterfly to print, but to be able to print instantaneously is very useful in and of itself. It's come in handy already for the kids school projects too, when they need a printed photo for school quickly. The starter pack that comes with the printer only printed 3 photos for me before the ink needed to be replaced, which was fine since I purchased a larger refill at the same time so that I would have it ready to go. I connect to it using it's WiFi connection to my phone very easily and find that it prints easily with the right settings. It will say "postcard" size instead of another paper size - i'm not sure if this is a preprogrammed setting in the iPhone but it prints properly so I haven't bothered to change anything. I did have trouble printing from my computer the first time I connected, because I couldn't get the "postcard" setting to settle, so after a few wasted prints, I got it working. I will be more aware of the settings before I press print next time so I don't waste ink/paper. Picture quality is pretty good. I wouldn't expect professional print quality anyway. The colors are a slightly muted compared to what you see on your phone but it does the job fine. If you are familiar wite dye sublimation, you'll know there is a bit of an odor and this is no exception, but it dissipates quickly. Otherwise, very pleased with this little photo printer!

What an amazing printer! I've used their older compact printers before but this is easily the best yet! It has amazing picture quality (for the size and price), the battery life is reasonably good in which it's able to perfectly print for a couple hours without fault! It's also amazing at connecting with my phone seamlessly! It's compatible with my newer iPhone 17 & my 15! Overall, for the price that you pay, the features are wonderful. I have used it for live on the go printing, at a couple school events, and many more occasions!

I've recently purchased the Canon SELPHY CP-1500 and the print quality is amazing! One of the best printers works great and fast to print! I love having it to make scrapbooks.

I love this product. The Canon CP1500 gets the job done and is very easy to set up and use. The colors are rich, though not always perfect, sometimes they come out a bit too dark or too light depending on the photo. I’d give the color quality a solid 9/10. That said, it’s still a great photo printer. I just wish it were a bit more affordable. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
