This does not work
This product does NOT work. If you want to split headphones: it does NOT work. If you want to charge and use your headphones at the same time: it doe NOT work. This is a bad product. Do NOT buy this if you are hoping to charge and listen on an iPhone 7/8. Too much of a hassle to even return/exchange for the price. What a scam!

Does Not Live Up To Expectation
Worked the first couple of days, now it doesn't. When connected to my car's AUX and my charger, it fails to switch to car audio. Worse, it causes constant beeping and alternating charge, no charge, charge, no charge states. Some sort of compatibility issue. When I unplug the adapter and use the Apple dongle to connect to car audio via AUX cable, car audio works. When I plug charger directly to iPhone 8, it charges. Put the adapter back in the chain and nothing works. Tried powering off the iPhone 8 and turning it back on. Same issue. Waste of money.

I ordered two because I figured double the chances of one working. And sure enough one of them doesn’t work you have to wiggle it and sometimes it works or the iPhone will say it doesn’t recognize this accessory etc.

The product worked great for a couple weeks
The product worked great for a couple weeks, but after that the wires inside the jacket started to show at the phone end plug junction.It’s poorly made.

It works!
This is great. We use it in the car so we can have the aux cord hooked up at the same time as charging. Only thing im not super sure about is that now that I started using this, I think the music just needs to be turned up louder... but again, not sure at all- could be the aux cord, could be the phone, could be car..... either way, it doesn't cause a problem and it hooks up and works so, there ya go! Cheap too so its worth a try.
