I bought the FRONTLINE Wormer tablets for my dog after noticing she might have picked something up on our walks. Unpalatable to my pooch
I don’t know what ‘flavour’ this is but my dog clenches his teeth together and refuses to eat it! I’ve tried hiding it in food, treats etc. He will not take it! I even looked online at how to give tablets and tried putting it at the back of his mouth and stroking his throat to make him swallow. He struggled and spat it out and I didn’t want to cause anxiety so I’ve left it. I thought they were good value for money and they probably are fine for other dogs, just not mine unfortunately. The size is pretty large so I’m not sure if that’s partly the problem. It makes it hard to hide in anything without him immediately noticing the smell (I’m assuming, as it’s hidden). Such a pity. I hope he doesn’t get worms in the next month as I’m concerned about trying something else straight away as some went in as the tablet was disintegrating.
