You just have to have the right tool
It worked like a charm. We needed to remove a bolt that was stuck & these drill bits did the trick and removed it. It takes a machinist would know what to use

The best way to extract a screw with a damaged head.
Very often a screw that has been butchered by the use of the wrong screwdriver or the wrong size of screwdriver can be removed by drilling with a left handed drill bit. This set of drills bits worked well.

What your easy-out kit should have come with.
I've had a screw extractor set for decades but thankfully haven't needed it very often. A steel Licence Platemounting screw galvanically reacted to the aluminum licence plate and rusted through the screw, poppingthe head off of it. I used the right handed drill that came with the kit to drill the hole for the extractor, butafter a quarter inch of drilling it caught on the screw and drove it all the way through the mount and into the bumper foam. Had I had these left handed drills it would have unscrewed the broken screw. Now I'm ready for "next time".
