Magnetic Tips for Kript 2nd Generation Magnetic Micro USB Cable (2 Pack/no Cord)

Pros:+ Virtually impossible to bend the micro-usb end.+ Nylon sleeve makes for a very nice feel and gives the impression of a sturdy build.+ So easy to magnetize, it could happen accidentally.+ Doesn't seem to heat up even under high amps (2 amps in my case)+ Green LED to confirm the cord is receiving power, isn't bright enough to keep you awake in bed and isn't too dark that you won't notice it in a well-lit room. (this should be standard among all USB cables honestly!)Cons:- A bit short, would like it if the manufacturer offered a 6 foot or 2 meter variant.- The magnet end of the cord has little metal prongs, I'm afraid they'll get bent someday.- Plastic housing on both ends feels a bit cheap, which is very apparent when juxtaposed next to the phenomenal nylon sleeve.- I'm experiencing a slight bend of sorts on the magnetic end, right where the cable meets the plug. It's quite minor but I'm afraid it will get worse over time.

This is a nice and durable cable for on-the-go travel, but at the same time it does limit you to needing a specific type of cable. It does allow for the ease of connecting and disconnecting a mobile device quickly without looking, but at the same time can just as easily allow for an accidental disconnection of a device when moving items around one's work space area. I do like the cable's ability to keep a mobile device charging on my laptop USB port while working in the library as the magnetic connection to-and-from the cable allows me to quickly pack-up my belongings. My main use is for charging so I can't speak much on the data transfer speed aspect for this cable. It does recognize my device to allow file transfers, but may or may not provide a fast speed of data transfer. As for the ability to charge with this cable, it's okay but isn't as quick to charge even when connected to a fast USB charge port that's plugged into an outlet. I noticed this when comparing another cable that states it offers a fast charge speed. This wouldn't be my go-to cable for quick charging-- more the cable I'd use for when I expect to be in one spot for an extended period of time while away from home and with a need to pack up my work area quickly at a moment's notice. The cable itself appears well made, but in general fell short in a few places to make it my always on-the-go travel cable.

Physically these CABLES seemed great, but ultimately found that they were not compatible with the other Kript adapters or connectors I bought. After speaking with the rep from Kript, I found out that you can not mix products of different generations. I ultimately purchased Kript cables and adapters of the same Generation 5, and they ALL worked together beautifully. If you use these cables independently of other Kript connectors or adapters of a different generation, and simply want to use this in place of a standard USB micro cable, this WILL work

my 3 yr old son has broke 5 chargers in 2 months, so this was a must for me and so far so good. he doesnt jerk them out he tries but he applies force on the cord and not the base so this should work.PROS: above listed, 2. i like that is charges slower on one side for the people that might leave them on the charge as they sleep this is perfect so youre not pushing your battery over night. 3. the indicator is nice so you know what side is fast charging and conformation that it is actually live. 4. durability in the cable seems very solid. 5. with my phone case, the protrusion of the micro tip is bellow flush.cons: the usb port end doesnt seem very durable. 2. i do wish for some more length but im not going to complain.OVERALL this is the cheapest option for this type of tech and for a 3 pack for 12$ is amazing and i am very happy considering the price, durability, and customer satisfaction. would recommend.

UPDATE: I have only had his cord for a little over a month and it’s already not charging my tablet. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t buy again.This cord works great and charges very quickly, I just didn’t realize that you have to pull it out at an angle so the little piece won’t come out of whatever you are charging. I bought this for my 5 year old so he can plug his tablet in on his own, but he always accidentally pulls the little thing out along with the cord. I’m afraid it is going to get lost. If the piece stayed in whatever it is in charging when the cord comes out, I would have given 5 stars

This product was the gateway for me into these and I love it! The length is perfect for so many things, overall charging at night wasn't as fun due to being to short for me, but otherwise I wouldn't trade it in!The cable itself is still fine, haven't had any issues with it at all. The magnetic end though is another story. So a month after I got this, I purchased NetDot Upgraded 2nd Generation USB2.0 Fast Charging Magnetic Micro USB Cable, 5' - Black (Pack of 3) for all my other uses where length was needed. It was a life saver being that the piece that goes into your phone kept failing to charge properly. Like the other adapter pieces tested on a tablet just to see, worked fine. Tested same cable on my phone, the charge would randomly stop. Replaced the piece, resolved.Albeit it was annoying, it was still an excellent item for the rate. Highly recommend the product.

Lets make it SimpleYou cant use this and heres why, the connector dose not have a tooth to hold in place inside the charging port like the normal micro usb connectors! Any movement will force it out

This cable I use for my Samsung Tab A, 2019, T290 tablet. No problems at all with this cable, It charges my Tablet and ALSO lets me transfer files (.mp4, .jpg, audio) from my PC to the tablet with ease. Just make sure the small part that inserts into your device, you are inserting it in correctly, it goes in firmly. Charges & transfers files, some cables only charge, this one does both.
