Replacement for 30 year old trv head
Successfully replaced a 30 year old Giacomini trv head with this new version. Easy to fit.

It fits perfectly
The biggest problem with it is that you cannot read the numbers on the Trv unless you kneel down on the floor. It really needs the numbers to be visible whilst bent over. I will use a permanant marker pen to enhance them. Other than that it fits perfectly and works ok.

This is very slow to react to temperature and the numbers are barely visible. You would need to use a pemanent marker to try highlight them.
