After reading this book, I have no doubt that an alkaline plant based diet is what nature intended for us.Aniys did a great job of referencing supporting science for the alkaline plant based diet, and sharing the ugly truth about the food and supplement industries.If you're considering trying out a vegetarian or vegan diet plan, I'd go with this one because I attempted one before with no knowledge and ended up with lessons energy and more digestive issues.Aniys also has a website and Facebook group to guide you into safely and smoothly making the transition to a plant based diet. I am ready to start again.The reason I gave the book 4 stars and not 5 is because there are quite a few typographical errors, and that just irritated me as I was reading. I learned things I'd never heard of regarding body chemistry and health though:)

I recommend this book for its knowledge
I recommend this book to get a basic knowledge on an alkaline diet. There was a lot of information I didn’t know such as farmers feeding cows a candy based diet or that 80% of the immune system is in the digestive tract. My biggest problem with this books is that it needed to be edited.I had read other reviews saying that it wasn’t edited and hard to get through and it did make it difficult to understand what the author was saying most of the time. I think if this book was edited properly I would’ve given it 6 stars. I’m excited I got through this book though and I want to try some of the recipes too. I also wished he would’ve added all the foods that weren’t and are alkaline, that way I could make more recipes than the one he offers.Another down side is that he recommends drinking a lot juices than eating, not that he doesn’t say eat but in order to realign your body, you have to drink juices. I think doing that for a short period of time is good be because it’ll be like fasting while cleansing out your body, but I don’t know if I’d recommend doing only juices for the rest of your life.I would highly recommend getting this book in the kindle version so you can check out the links provided and the resources the author added to the book. One of the juices that the author created, The Bam Bam Juice, has been modified since publishing this book and he also provides a link so you can see the update version.My overall review is that this is a great book, the information is amazing. I just wish the list of alkaline foods were added and that the book was edited properly. Other than that, I would highly recommend this book.

Well written guide for one embarking on a plant based diet
I'm a believer n follower of Dr. Sebi n his Methodology! Aqiyl Aniys explains what a plant based diet is n how it can help us gain/maintain good health! He shares how he got started! He also describes how to get started n includes food dishes that are prepared from the foods/herbs found on the nutritional! This book is a great guide for one embarking on a plant based diet

GREAT BOOK FOR HEALTH !
This book is really a life saver ! It has all the information you need to know including some science behind why our current diets are not beneficial and some recipes ! Only con is that I don’t think this book was revised so there are some typos and misspelled words

This book is very informative, however there are so many typos and grammar errors. If you can get past that this is actually a great book

On My Jouney
I've actually been on the alkaline diet now for 4 months now. I have been receiving a lot of benefits from this diet for I have not been feeling fatigue nor have I been feeling bloated. I can also tell a difference regarding my shin as well. It's a lot smoother and clear. I have the book just to give me more of a guidance for other ideals and recipes. Overall, the the book has given me a better understanding and way of living regarding my health.

This book saved my life!
Fantastic book, all the methods I have adopted into my lifestyle. I have lost all the bloatedness in my stomach and my waist is the smallest it’s ever been and that’s in just two months, even my pecs are resurfacing after 25 years. This book has saved my life, restored my bp and now I don’t ever have to take tablets for the rest of my life, following a clean bill of health from the doctor. It’s the worthiest book in my entire collection. You have not lived until you’ve read this cure all. And I should know I’m an Author by trade. Well done and keep up the good work!

Nothing new
While quite informative it had nothing new to add. There are so many books like this it just becomes repetitive information. This is just another book about a vegan diet and the miraculous results the author gained from following a very strict diet. I feel like so many other authors they talk about themselves too much to the point of boring the reader. I am a vegan for moral reasons, I am a true animal lover. The best book I have ever read on the subject of healthy eating is ‘raw energy’ by Leslie and susannah Kenton first published in 1984. This is probably the most down to earth and informative book on this subject. I believe it has been re published and well worth purchasing. It is evidence based and the mother of all books advocating the benefits of a diet based on vegetables and fruit, mainly eaten raw. All the other books such as this book the ‘alkaline diet’ is just authors jumping on the very lucrative band wagon of diets and what is the healthiest way to eat. If you are new to this subject then this book will have some benefit but please for a much more informative read go to the original ‘raw energy’. It is the best in my opinion.

I boughT this book so I widen my knowledge of eating natural GOD MADE FOODS. I truly believe this diet is how humanity is suppose to eat IN Order to prevent diseases from prematurely kill us..and generally stay healthy while we visit earth. but sadly we are more used to the unnatural ways of eating… it takes lots of courage and drive to stick with this diet but IF you’re in the journey, I’ll say DONT GIVE UP AND CONTINUE.I’ll recommend this book!

in this book it gives an insight to plant and what property are contain in them for your benefit, There are simple soups and dishes that don't take a lot of time to to prepare either. It is not heavy reading and to keep you in a healthy state it is worth having the knowledge to support you become aware of what to eat.This book is easy to read and don't use word that can be found only in mystic language of the new age. No plain language. Good read
