These have been great! You'll notice that I said "these." I bought one for one room and one for another. They are very "territorial," meaning that the warmth stays close to the heater. Don't expect it to heat a whole room unless the room is very small like a bathroom. We use it for when we're sitting and get chilly. The size makes it easy to carry around, if needed, and not take up much space. I bought the second one several months after the first one because the first one was so satisfactory. Seems like they are going to last a while.

These little ceramic heaters are great for smaller spaces like bathrooms or insulated little travel trailers. While they will not heat a larger space efficiently, they are great for warming a smaller enclosed space very quickly. They stay upright but do not shut off when knocked over, so place them carefully. Anyway, why heat the whole house at hight when you just want to stay warm in the bathroom?

Works perfectly. I keep it under my desk and never have to worry about being cold.

This is my third one, all placed in rooms I go in the most - rest room- no more cold toilet seat - this this close by and the heat warms it in a minute, bedroom, and office - but you could move tham anywhere of course. This one is a an enormous bedroom with 12 foot ceilings, so I keep the ceiling fan on to push the heat back down, but it will warm the room in minutes and keep it warm, but not baking alive, due to the thermostat. Sometimes, it keeps running after I set it though, but there is a strong chance it could be me, not paying attention and getting in tune with it. I love them, my electric bill would be twice as high to heat an apartment this big without them. Fairly quiet, it's just rushing wind from a strong fan. One thing, DO NOT SIT ANYTHING CLOSE TO THEM AND ONLY SET THEM ON A FLAT, HEAT RESISTANT SURFACE. The heat will shoot out and rise, acting like a convection oven if anything is close, it will basically bake it, heating it up. Leaving it on 3 feet from the bathtub for 4-5 hours, I return and even the shower rod ( 7 feet off the floor ) was almost too hot to touch!! With the steam and heat, it looked like it actually dried out the ceiling in the small room, I had to touch it up and not run it so long in there. They work, make no mistake, just use common sense though. If you have ceiling fans, it really helps push the heat back down I believe too.

I got this little heater, not expecting that it would work so well and heat up in area. I thought it would be just for a spot heating however it can heat up a room quickly. It was a great price too thank you.

Great little heater, that can't be beat at that price! I have used it extensively this winter to heat my bedroom. It has done an outstanding job. I have not had any issues with it. It has operated exactly as described and has done a wonderful job. I bought it to replace a different small heater bought a couple years ago. That heater was around the same price, but always felt cheap and unreliable. I made sure to always keep it within my eye-line as I felt like it was going to catch on fire any day. Then, one it just shorted out and stopped working. I searched Amazon for a replacement, and considered spending more for something more reliable. I came across this heater, in the same pricing area, and decided to take a chance. I could not be happier with my purchase. This device feels much better made, more sturdy, and more trustworthy. On my device, only the front grill get hot to the touch. The top, bottom, back, and sides all remain cool to the touch even when the device has been running on high for hours. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy it again in a heartbeat. (Edit): I did actually buy it again! I had need for a second unit, so I made sure I ordered exactly the same device. This would be appropriately 2-3 years apart. The new unit looks even nicer, only slight changes to the look, but I'd say they're improvements. Both units are running great, have never given me any trouble, and have my confidence that they're not going to suddenly catch on fire (which I can't say the same about some other brands I've owned in the past.) So I'm still happy with this device and would recommend it.

Small but mighty. It works to heat the immediate area or a small room. It's not going to significantly heat a medium to large room but it works well for what it is. I find that the outside stays cool and doesn't give me any worry about it getting too hot, even when it's been on for several hours. That said, the knobs are not durable at all, one of the knobs cracked and fell off the machine and I barely touched it a few times so now if we want to change the heat from low to high we have to use a pair of pliers so...keep that in mind. Also I don't think I have large hands but the indent where you put your hand so you can pick it up safely is so shallow you can't really use it. You need to grab it with 2 hands.

Perfect size and work well to cover room. I was amazed that this little guy did a big job. Well done to the manufacturers. I like it’s unique size and can be placed in any area conveniently

I had read good things about Lasko ceramic heaters online and wanted try one. This seemed to be the perfect balance of cost and meeting my needs. For an 8in x 6in x 5in cube it is WARM. I put it under my desk for my cold feet (working in the basement) and I've got it on the lowest fan setting with a heat setting of 3 (out of 10) and I'm good to go. I'm amazed that the first time I turned it on, it gave off heat within a couple of seconds and the casing stays totally cool. What I love about these ceramic units is that it heats what you point it at (and not trying to fill an entire space with warmth - that gets lost if you open a door move around a lot). But everyone who lives in my house says that the basement area that is usually quite cold is very comfortable when they come down to talk to me. Highly recommend! Lives up to its reputation and positive reviews.

Es un calentador muy práctico. Es de tamaño pequeño, lo suficientemente silencioso para tenerlo encendido mientras se ve una película, y su efecto es muy relajante y acogedor. Cumple su función muy bien, y si antes de apagarlo, luego de usarlo como calentador, lo dejas en modo ventilador por uno segundos, alargarás aun más su vida útil. Lo recomiendo.

My office is about 150sq feet, this heater works great and heats up the room quite quickly. The noise isn't too loud, I don't think it would bother most people. I can still hear soft spoken individuals in my office when the heater is on. Cost is reasonable, I think there may be cheaper options out there, but you generally get what you pay for, so I'm happy to have spent a bit more for good quality.

-Calienta muy bien en un cuarto de 3x3 metros, en cuartos más grandes no calienta mucho por más que lo dejes un buen tiempo. Su función principal es calentar, así que vale la pena solo con esto. -Definitivamente lean su instructivo, en él dice que no se puede instalar en una extensión, yo lo hice y se me quemó la extensión. No hay habido problemas al conectarlo a la pared. -Se apaga solo cuando se calienta demasiado o lleva mucho tiempo prendida (no lo notarás porque para entonces ya estará caliente tu habitación). -Tiene un modo frío, pero no es muy bueno, aunque igual puede ser útil.
