Stainless Steel Wok (Sliver)

I love this pot cover. It fits my 12 inches frying pan and cast iron skillet perfectly. The dome design let the food cooks evenly and quickly. I also love the design of the handle that’s able to stand on the counter to save space. The top glass window makes it easy to check on how the food is cooking. A must have gadget for my kitchen. The only issue is the screws on the handle needs to be tightened often.

Lid is sturdy. Handle stays cool to the touch. Especially like glass top and steam vents. I use on a griddle to steam veggies. Works great. The only drawback is it’s size. Would prefer an 8”‘ or 10”.‘.

This lid fits standard 12" pans, i used it on my Lodge Cast Iron to help prevent splatter when cooking at high temperatures. The handle's "anti-heat" design does its job well and you will most likely never burn your hands when using this lid.Overall the quality of this item is great and the unique handle design works well. The only downside i could think of is the awkwardness I feel when I place the lid down on the counter since the handle is much larger than usual.

Most people who think they can cook because they can heat things up... don't know what they're talking about. I've worked in kitchens throughout my adult life; this product is FANTASTIC & very WELL-DESIGNED for it's FUNCTION. Stops the splattering from any pan cooking while leaving you the option to SEE the food cooking. I compared many cloches on amazon before purchasing this one & it has exceeded my generally waaaay-too-high expectations. Even the handle is made of the proper material. The only downside of this purchase is that you have to screw the handle on yourself; it's worth it.

This is clearly a wok lid or lid designed for some other pan and not designed as a melting dome. There was no measurement listed so took a chance and it's too big for a melting dome. That said it's nicely made with a nice finish to the stainless steel and comes with good hardware to attach the handle. It also fits perfectly on my Le Creuset cast iron frying pan which I didn't have a lid for so I'm keeping it for that reason, though it's quite bulky and takes up a lot of room in my pan drawer. The lip that fits inside the frying pan edge is 11-5/8" across while the entire diameter is 12". Melting domes don't have this lip so I suspect this seller had a surplus of wok lids and decided to market these as melting domes.It's hard to recognize in the listing photos but they show this lid resting in a round cookie sheet. That's about the only way to use it as a melting dome as it won't fit onto the floor of any pan and it's too nice to use in a grill. Simply closing the grill lid would suffice there anyway. The handle stays cool during use.

I laughed when people complained about how this was not a melting dome, but the lid to a pot... HAHAHA... That's like saying, it's not a flyswatter, it a striking surface attached to a flexible stick. What's the difference? This is well made, and really nice to be able to view the progress of the melting. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for your time.

Bought this cover to use on a griddle grill to cover the food with. It works great as you can see down through the top and the handle doesn't get too hot to pick it up. A good product!

This is a practical product. I use mine on a cast iron plate on my stove. It works great and the window is a nice feature.
