Excellent Value!
You could easily pay 2 X more for this kit and it still would be a bargain! It's an excellent value for the quality and assortment you get. Works effortlessly on bearings as well as other mechanical components such as small to medium sized pulleys and gears. It comes with a nice assortment of adapters and extensions, which is pretty much all you'll need to get most any job done. The case it comes in is also nice and sturdy, better than what comes with most other tools in this price range. I know a lot of you might be thinking, you get what you pay for, and I tend to believe that is true for a lot of things, but this here tool set is without a doubt the exception. Buy it, try it, and you'll see it's a keeper!

A GREAT TOOL GREAT CHOICE:
I have a 7 1/4" saw I purchased from Montgomery Ward many years ago. I have used and abused it a lot over the years. I noticed some movement in the arbor shaft, so I opened the saw up and found that the rear arbor bearing had been destroyed. I needed to remove the portion of the old bearing left on the armature shaft.I reviewed several bearing separators including the "OTC". After reading the reviews of that tool, I could not justify the additional cost. After receiving this tool I checked over the threads on each part. They all looked good. I greased them up and assembled the small separator snugging up all nuts. With-in seconds the shell of the old bearing was removed. The Tool Worked Very Well for my application.

You probably don't need the set of 2
Worked well enough, nothing stayed bent despite a little flex under strain which i found impressive for the price. You likely won't ever need the small one though. The difference between the diameter of the tapered blade bits is so small that anything that the little one can do the big one can too, it just opens wider.

It works!!
I had a devil of time removing the original steering wheel from a 1956 Massey Harris 50 tractor. I tried using borrowed 3 leg gear pullers, but could not get them to work. I finally bought a Shankly gear puller set, and it worked absolutely great. Easy to set up and easy to use. I was so relieved when that steering wheel popped off. You should also know that I used an impact gun instead of a hand held wrench. The Shankly gear puller set has several length bolts and two different center pieces to adjust to various applications. It looks and feels very well made.

Works well for smaller bearings
I used this kit to pull off the bearings off the center differential shafts in my Subaru Outback. It easily pulled off the smaller bearings. It was especially useful when there was little room to grip the bearing.Note: the larger bearing attached to the center differential required a large 3-jaw gear puller rented from Advanced Auto. The bearing splitter in this kit does not open wide enough for that, though you might be able to modify it with a threaded rod.

Good value
Made in China but is pretty well built and it’s a versatile kit I bought it for replacing the bearings on my rear differential carrier, worked great no issues, made a tough job fairly smooth

This Tool Rocks/Damaged Tool Case/Missing Stuff
The positive first: Great tool, easy to assemble, removed bearing from an arbor shaft with ease, and the price is right. The negative: Shipping box undamaged; however, the tool case had one corner pushed in. No user manual and no foam cover in the tool case even though the tool case was wrapped in plastic. I can only assume Amazon's quality control was AWOL and a returned item was repackaged or was not checked by Shankly. I found a web page for Shankly but it was shown as being expired. Hmmmm... If not for the negatives, this would have been a 5 Star review.

Great quality at a really good price
When removing bearing on a outboard motor drive shaft, I needed something to grip the bearing and withstand the force necessary to press it off. I don't do this type of work very often so a good quality tool and a cheap price was what I needed. This is it! Nice care and worked like a charm!
