HIDEit Mount for Apple TV 4K - Apple TV Wall Mount Compatible with 1st and 2nd Gen

This is a good low profile mount and it fits our Apple TV 4k perfectly. I have it mounted to the back of the TV using some 3M double-sided tape without any issues. I have the TV mounted to the wall using a cantilever mount so I couldn't use the included VESA screws and didn't want to mount it to the wall and wire manage it. The steel construction is nice and sturdy and I love that it is American Made. The Apple TV itself works as intended and no connectivity issues exist with it being mounted to the back of the TV even with no line-of-sight between the remote and the unit (which is a given since it is Bluetooth). There are no overheating issues even after about 5 months of use. I definitely intend to get another as soon as I get my other TV mounted to the wall.

I've purchased two of these AppleTV 4K HIDEit mounts. I screwed one into the wall behind the TV for that one (already has the VESA screw holes in use). And on the other one, I put one screw through the top-most hole and fastened it to the back of the TV for that one. Either way, this product puts the AppleTV unit nicely out-of-sight, and near where it needs to be with all the appropriate cables and connections. I highly recommend it. And, I have found that mounting it so that the AppleTV device can be slide in from the top into the mount is the way that makes the most sense for me... and I recommend mounting it higher (nearer the top of the frame, rather than lower behind the TV, which ought to increase the wireless range (better WiFi connection, better remote control, and AirPlay connectivity). Very easy to install. I also bought and use other HIDEit mounts (different sizes, for routers etc) to get ugly devices off the floor and off of surface areas so they don't have to be in view. Makes everything look a lot cleaner. If I were to go on a wild lark, I'd buy a dozen more HIDEit mounts (in different sizes) to get as many electronic devices out of eyesight.

This is exactly right for my Apple TV. Mounted perfectly, fit great, good item for a fair price so what else can you expect? Thank you.

This review is for the HIDEit ATV4K mount (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076DL3QQZ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0). I was looking for a mount to fit my new Apple TV 4K that would hide the device behind the TV. I have a recessed area so wall mounting in that area was fine. This product fit the bill. The mount is metal and quite sturdy. It came with all the screws necessary for stud or drywall mounting, and I mounted mine in a stud. It fits the Apple TV 4k perfectly and has slots to allow airflow along the bottom of the device for better ventilation. Once mounted the product was very sturdy and secure. If you're looking for a wall-mount for the ATV4K this is a great option.

I have 8 Apple TV’s so I consider myself a bit of any expert when it comes to mounting these things. I’ve tried several different brands but I like these the best. The center holes and tv mounting hardware are great. However, if you try to mount these in a wall do not use the included hardware, I would use drywall anchors just in case. The included screws will work with the anchors so you can install the mount flat. In all, if I need more mounts in the future these are the ones I’d buy.

I was really pleased on the HIDEit mount for ps4 that I decided on this one. Although I do not have the 4K Apple TV I use this one. It seems easier to install because because of the two vertical screw holes that it come pre-drilled with. This makes it so that it can be screwed to a stud and straightening it rather than having to use drywall anchors I used the screws included in the packaging. It goes without saying but the Apple TV is very secure, however it slides in and out very easier so I can only be mounted in the orientation pictured. My only complaint is that the cables either have to come out of the top or the bottom making it more difficult to hide them. At the end of the day I just pushed my tv to the left a little it helped hide them but they’re still not completely gone. Exposed cables really bothers me! I’d recommend this mount over any other.

Using the tapered head M6 screw, the Apple TV box barely has enough clearance to fit. No problems with receiving wifi signal. Designed with opening to let hot air escape. I would buy again if I upgrade my Apple TV box later, noting it might not be the same size.

El soporte encaja perfectamente con el appletv 4k. Sin embargo tiene algunos detalles que no lo hacen perfecto: - es todo de metal por lo que puede arañar el appletv. Sería bueno que tuviera alguna parte de goma para protegerlo. - no tiene suficientes tornillos para colocarlo. Tuve que buscar y comprar los adecuados para mi televisión.

Very easy to install. Easily hides behind the tv making it as if it is not even there. Great value, and a perfect accessory for the Apple TV.

It is well made and includes 2 common sizes of VESA screws and wall screws / plugs. Although the ATV4K is for the Apple TV 5th Gen (4K) with the air vents, it also fits the 4th Gen which is what I bought it for because I prefer the design of the ATV4K over the ATV4. It holds your Apple TV very securely, unlike the plastic mounts I have tried. It is recommended to mount it as high up as possible on the TV with the cables facing downwards, this is so the front edge of the Apple TV containing the infra red sensor faces upwards for the purpose of receiving IR signals from other remote controls (e.g. TV volume). The Apple TV remote which is both Bluetooth and infra red works fine with the mount when orientated as described above. I am using an ethernet cable for the internet connection, so I am unable to comment on whether the metal bracket affects the WiFi signal. I highly recommend it.

E' fatto apposta per apple tv 4k e le misure sono assolutamente perfette. Il materiale è ottimo non presenta nessun segno di imperfezione.
