Celestial Lights Ultra Bright, Battery Operated LED Window Candle with Timer (1 Candle, Brushed Nickel)

As stated by others, these are very bright. One side is brighter than the other, so you can position the less bright side facing inward. Unfortunately, you can see the reflection of the bright side in the glass, so that really isn’t a bonus. I love the timer feature, which is super easy. I love that they are cordless but they take 4 AA batteries each, so if you have a lot of windows, as I do, that can add up. The lights are led, so I don’t think they drain as much power as incandescent bulbs. I’ve only had them up for two weeks, so I don’t know how long the batteries will last, as of yet. My only other complaint is the light is very white,(almost fluorescent). I prefer the warmer glow of older Christmas lights...but that’s just me.

I have only had these candles for a few days, but so far I am very happy with them. I have had a few different battery operated candles for two windows in my foyer that have no outlets. They have either run through batteries too fast because they were incandescent, or they were just too dim. This particular model is very nice, clear bright white (not blue at all) and it has one side that is MUCH brighter than the other. I aim the brighter side out to the street. The dimmer side is still very bright, but not blinding. An additional plus is the built in timer--6 hours on, 18 hours off. No remote, it just turns itself on and off. I may switch all of my window candles to this model--I just need to see how long the batteries last. I used Duracell Quantum.

I've purchased battery operated window candles in the past, even expensive ones, and ended up throwing them out because they were very dim and looked horrible. These, however, are very bright. I'd say that they are almost as bright as the plug in window candle lights without the cord. And the fact that they are directional, (i.e. bright towards the window to the outside, but, not as bright towards the room) is an added bonus. The timer works great, they all go on at roughly the same time every night and off 6 hours later. You can just set and forget them. I don't know how long the batteries last yet, but I've had them about 2 weeks and they are as bright as the first day. Highly recommended. The downside is that they are a little expensive. But they are worth it.

I purchased one of these candles along with 2 other brands/types to try in my windows. They are extremely bright -- a plus if you're looking to mimic the plug-in level of brightness. Although I didn't put them side-by-side, they actually might surpass my plug-ins in brightness. The filaments in the bulbs are fashioned, though, so that they're not so bright toward the room. I actually chose another brand as my "winner" because these looked too bright for what I wanted. Because of its brightness, the look is more like what I'd call a "candle-lamp" than a light that would be coming from a real candle. Also, the aged bronze color (for the base) that I ordered was not black like in the photo, but more of a dark copper (orangey) color.

These were incredible! The perfect replacement to my feet of extension cords and endless timers. I purchased 8 and placed the batteries in them and turned them on all at the same time before placing them in my windows so that they would all come on at the same time. The timers on all the candles worked perfectly, so they remained in sync.Bright for the whole 30+ days I had them in my windows. You can't tell the difference from my old corded candle lights. All others types I have tried in the past made my house look haunted and ready for Halloween. These were bright and cheerful!The only drawback was 4 AA batteries/candle, but it is still worth that cost to replace the old ones.

I spent a lot of time searching for a battery operated candle that had a nice looking base and white taper ... which this one definitely does. However, it didn't occur to me that the LED light would be that bright white, which doesn't look like a candle at all. So while other reviewers are correct that it's bright and noticeable from the street, it doesn't have that nice, warm yellow glow of traditional plug-in candles. If that's important to you, I would recommend buying one to test (I wish I'd done that rather than buying all 10 at once and finding I didn't like the color of the light). Otherwise, it's a great little candle.

We moved recently and I wanted to get new Christmas lights for our windows. Our previous battery operated lights were very dim and also a very ugly base. These are perfect! We can time them to come on at 5 and go off at 11, they are very bright, and the brushed nickel base looks classy, not cheap. I am delighted with my purchase!

Exactly what I needed for a very high window in my entry hall. I have no access to electrical outlets in my second story entry way and wanted to have a window light. It was a wonderful compliment to my other window electric window candelabras. The LED light was warm, very similar to my incandescent bulbs, so there was a nice similarity to all my windows as seen from both the street and inside my house. The batteries have lasted more than 30 days with the 6 hour integrated timer. I would purchase this again.
