This is the trick to divert sprinkler water where you don't want it!
I used the guard to keep sprinkler rust water from spraying on white rail post. The stake is really long, so it requires a small but deep hole to get the cover low enough where it needs to be. Not a problem. Perfect for the job! Would definitely purchase again!

This sprinkler shield appears to be very well made and sturdy. However, it is very big to put by a pop up sprinkler head. The stake is incredibly long, too long in my opinion. Plus you can't hammer it in the ground because of the plastic shield.
