Useless
The product does not work. Every time you turn off the PS4 you have to repair w the headset, after the second time I tried it would not connect anymore. Since the mic is on the controller it picks up really loud controllers sound. I was extremely excited about the product but it’s useless. Also box came damaged, looks like it was returned before. Looking for better options. Hopefully they can get one out that works.

It works!
I was looking to connect my AirPods to the PS4 so I could chat with my friends while gaming. There were so many bad reviews that made it very hard to make a decision. I decided to give a try to this one as it will arrive next day, after a quick an easy installation I was able to connect my AirPods and did not have any issue while playing fortnite with my friends. I did set it up so I could hear full sound plus the chat using the included mic. First day and I am happy I got this one!UpdateI guess the downside and a very important fact is that you have to pair the headset every time you turn on the PS4. This is a bit annoying, haven’t found a way to solve this issue.

I like the concept of it but it seems like it doesn't work with the lg wireless headsets. It connects but there is no output through the mic.

The bluetooth has not given me any trouble. I have high quality headphones and they connect right up. The one star is removed because the bluetooth uses its own microphone for chat---and it isn't good quality. I had once dropped to 1star because it appeared it had been blocked. Changes to system on sony made it a little problematic to recognize after update in september- but after a few reboots, it did actually recognize again after update. Device does work, but takes some tinkering to get it to co-operate ... BTW... the best method to get to work-- make sure ps4 is turned off before inserting chip--- then turn on ps4.

Connected to Turtle Beach’s and worked great!
Really great! I wasn’t too sure on buying it at first but I was like, “Ehh, I’ll give it a try.” For some reason, my headset wasn’t working or something was up and my friends couldn’t hear me when we’d play the PS4 online together so I attached this to it and it’s great! I can talk and they can hear me... only downside was that my friends talking and the audio of the game were the same and I couldn’t lower it so sometimes I couldn’t hear... but still a good 5 stars! 😅

2 different units, both didn’t work.
After returning the first one I ordered a second. Nope, it’s just defective garbage. Neither would pair with my Bose headphones. The instructions were great but little did I know it was just a theoretical story of how something that should work works. I didn’t read the other reviews before purchasing and that was my fault. This thing is a hot steaming mess!!! Stay away, very far away!!!

Didn’t connect to PS4.
Doesn’t work on PS4. But I figured out how to connect my AirPods and Powerbeats Pro. So I’ll use them for Something else. Keeping them on deck.
