Logitech G203 Prodigy Wired Gaming Mouse

I like this gaming mouse because it is fast and easy to use. It feels comfortable in my hand and works smoothly while gaming. The buttons respond quickly and help me play better. Overall, it is a good gaming mouse and good value for money.

This is probably one of the best computer mice on the market at this price range, you will be hard pressed to find another mouse that performs as well as this. I have had it for around a month or so and it is fantastic, excellent response times when moving and clicking i have it set to default 800dpi and that is spot on for me when i am playing games like Battlefield 1, CS:GO, Battlegrounds, etc. It has really upped my aiming ability, and i bought this to replace the logitech g303 which had a faulty side mouse button. I dont regret switching from the pixart 3366 sensor, to the one in this mouse which is a new 'Mercury' sensor and according to many it performs just as good if not better than the pixart 3366 and i would agree it feels a lot better. The RGB lighting is a nice touch for this mouse, its very comfortable to use and i have quite large hands and it fits perfectly. I can game for many hours without and aches or pains in my hand using this mouse. It looks identical to the Logitech G Pro the only difference between the two is this mouse has a different sensor that only goes up to 6000dpi where as the 'G Pro' has a sensor capable of 12,000dpi but who uses 12.000dpi for gaming??? Also the cable for this mouse is rubber, the 'G Pro' has a braided cable. The mouse comes well packaged as always with logitech products, there is NO software included with the mouse, so you will have to download that from the logitech website. The software will allow you to set macros, adjust and save (to the mouse's internal memory) many dpi settings to suit your play style. You can also adjust the lighting options for the mouse with many options to pick from, the software is straght forward and very easy to use. But all in all value for money this is spot on, it looks identical to its expensive brother the 'Logitech G Pro' and performs just as good at a fraction of the price. I Highly recommend this mouse, I already convinced a friend to buy one and he loves it. I find personally Logitech make the best computer mice on the market. UPDATE*** Still using this mouse 9 months later, no issues at all, mouse buttons still function and feel great with no double clicking issues as some have mentioned or miss clicking randomly in game. This mouse has received a firmware update since ive had it and it upped the DPI from 6000 to 8000. But all in this a great mouse and cheaper now compared to when i bought it last year, HIGHLY recommended and this is from someone who games every day I can confirm this mouse has been put through some intense gaming sessions and has never faulted so for £25 its the best mouse in its price range, the next upgrade for me would be the g502 but i currently feel like this is no needed yet.

Thought I would write this review (And I rarely write reviews) because I am genuinly impressed by this mouse. Now I actually tested this alongside the G403 and decided I prefer this mouse. Quality of the mouse: I heard zero creaks when squeezing the mouse and feels sturdy, I couldn't find any flex or loose parts when doing this. No rattling either. Doesn't feel hollow or any feeling of falling apart any time soon. Exterior: All plastic, which I personally like, it is textured on the sides for good grip and smoother on the top, it still has a noticeable texture on the top but is just smoother than the sides. feels nice in hands and feels well made. Scroll wheel: I think it's pretty good too be honest, couldn't detect any issues with it and works like a charm. It is fairly easy to push down, however this may be me, it's a lot lighter to press than the g403 mouse wheel, one of the reasons I didn't like the g403 was because of the amount of force to press down the scroll wheel, although it was smoother to turn. Buttons: the front two buttons feel very nice to me (they use Omron switches) and have a quality click sound (at least to me), they are slightly louder than a lot of mice but I personally prefer it as it sounds and feels like a proper click when you press on them. I hear no rattle between the plastic buttons and the switches when I press them. The side buttons feel fine to me and seem to be nicely placed. I don't really press the CPI button at the top so I don't know about that one. Maybe something else to mention is the left and right button are slightly concave so your fingers fit better and more comfortable, at least to me, compared to convex mouse buttons. The left and right mouse button are rated for 10 million clicks, but I personally think the mouse is more likely to break, or you will buy a new mouse before meeting this amount. Mouse feet: They feel alright in the glide. It is similar to the intellimouse explorer mice where there is a small pad on each corner, I personally prefer this type of mouse feet. Cable: It is made of rubber, however the rubber is more sturdy compared to your average rubber cable, it's flexible and doesn't get in the way. Rubber is my preference over braided but it doesn't really matter as it's personal preference. Sensor: Probably one of the most important parts of a mouse. This mouse uses Logitechs new Murcury sensor. I think it's very good. You may not believe me but I think it feels better than the Pixart PMW3366m sensor, it feels more responsive and smoother with the movements. No angle snapping can be detected when I was using it (however this is from what I can see and feel, no technical methods were used). No jitter was detected in my sensor tests and it felt as smooth as butter, it felt like it was capturing my every move at the exact times my hand done them. No spin out was found when I used it. An important thing to mention is I tested the g403 and 203 one after the other and found the Murcury sensor to feel better in every way, at least in my experience. Feel free to try for yourself, both sensors are good and likely won't know the difference. I tested both sensors with the exact same settings. This part is from another review: "No angle snapping, smoothing, predictive movements, or acceleration was detectable." Weight: It's a pretty light mouse, the weight is evenly dispersed so if you pick it up from the centre it stays balanced (In other words it doesn't tip on one side). This makes it very east to control in my opinion and adds to contruction quality as it feels even and well made throughout. Features: It has 16.8 million colour LEDs, they are bright and have good appealing colours, certainly not cheap LEDs, although I don't like LEDs and automatically turned them off due to presonal preference. Logitech software allows polling rates between 125, 250, 500, and 1000, I personally think 500 is the best for me. 5 pre-set cpi configurations are available, 400, 800, 1600, 3200 (the one I use), and 4600, however these can be changed to any amount you want in steps of 50CPI a time. For any of you interested the default native CPI for this mouse is 800. This is about all there is to say about the mouse, it's perfect and I personally found no issues with it so far. For an extra point people with large hands or people who palm and possibly claw grip the mouse may not like this. I use fingertip grip so the it is okay for me but other people may find it too small for their liking. My hands are 19CM from wrist to middle finger tip, and 9 CM wide. This is an excellent mouse for the given price, however, I think it is important to state that while the overall use, feel and look of the mouse is excellent the buttons are very sensitive. There have been many occasions where I am using the mouse and accidentally right click or when I am scrolling and press the mouse-wheel, or when I am in game and accidently zoom in or when I am trying to bunnyhop and through a flashbang. With that being said, this is the only problem that I have come across with it after use for 42 hours. It is an ambidextrous mouse shape, so it is possible to use it left-handed, however, this would mean that you would be controlling the 4th and 5th buttons with your ring or pinky finger. Overall the mouse is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for an affordable gaming mouse, the sensor is very good with no visible lag (this is after playing 5-6 game of CSGO at the SMFC rank), the companion programme that can be installed is also excellent and works very well, especially if you have multiple Logitech products that use RGB lighting.

The G203 is a budget version of the G Pro which replaces the G303 in Logitech's line up. The G203 is a six button mouse using Logitech’s own Mercury sensor. The G303 had an unusual ambidextrous diamond shape (which I quite liked) whereas the G Pro and G203 have a more conventional ambidextrous shape and are slightly lighter at a very slim 83g. I had to adopt a rather strange hybrid grip to use the G303 effectively but can use the more conventional palm, claw or fingertrip grips with the G203. The mouse is fairly small, smaller than other ambidextrous style mice I own such as the Nixeus Revel, Steelseries Sensei, Dream Machines DM 1 Pro S, Zowie FK2 and Finalmouse Scream One. My hands are fairly average size at 19cm long and 10cm wide and I alternate between claw and fingertip with the G203. I do not like proprietary software but the Logitech suite is excellent and allows you to set the number of dpi stages, reprogram buttons and change the RGB lighting (using fixed, breathing or cycle). It also allows you to save profiles to the mouse so you can then use it software free. In use the mouse is extremely responsive thanks to the Mercury sensor which incidentally has just received a firmware update to take the dpi to 8000. It is also extremely comfortable during long gaming sessions due its shape and low weight. The left and right main buttons use Omrons and are very easy to click quickly due to the spring tensioning system carried over from the G303. The thumb buttons and scroll wheel click are crisp with little travel. I personally am a low sensitivity player and normally use 400dpi (I go for a 12 inch+ 360 degree turn in games so sometimes use a different dpi depending on how the in game sensitivity works). For a low sensitivity player the ability to lift the mouse easily is important as the mouse needs to be re-positioned on the pad regularly after long sweeps. The ambidextrous shape of the G203 makes this easy as is common with most ambi shaped mice. I found the G203 tracked flawlessly on all the pads I tested it with (Zowie G-SR and GTF-X, Steelseries QCK+ and Xtrfy NiP lightning). The lift off distance on these pads was under 1 CD which is nice and low. My criticisms of the G203 are the lack of dpi indicator and the quality of the mouse feet. I've replaced the mouse feet with the Competition style from Hotline gaming and that improves the glide. There is no coloured LED to tell you which dpi is currently selected. This may be an issue to some people but I personally never change dpi mid game so this does not worry me. I also own the more expensive G Pro. The shell is identical as far as I can tell but there are a few differences. The Mercury sensor only goes to 8000 dpi whereas the Pixart 3366 in the G Pro can go to 12000 and is regarded as the best sensor in the market. In game the two feel the same to me. The G pro uses higher quality switches, the Omron switches for example are rated for 20million clicks rather than 10million on the G203. In addition surface tuning is available in the software for the G Pro so you can adjust the LOD for individual mouse pads. However the G203 tracked fine on the pads I tested it with without this feature. Finally the G203 has a very flexible light rubber cable which I find far superior to the braided cable of the G Pro. In conclusion the G203 is a great mouse for me. I find it indistinguishable performance wise from Logitech’s flagship G Pro. The killer for the G Pro is that the G203 retails at half the price! I want to start off this review by saying that I have only used this mouse for 2 days, I have not experienced any major issues nor do I have any concerns about the reliability of this mouse, at least through my testing, however, issues can arise at any moment and I'll be sure to update this review sharing with you guys if any issues do occur for some reason. I love this mouse, no seriously, I love it. I have been debating on purchasing this mouse for about 2 months now but always stopped myself as I thought it would be too small or I would hate it for some other unknown reason, but I'm honestly glad I bought this mouse, it's phenomenal, it truly has a great sensor, amazing RGB lights to sync up with my Logitech G910 and, a very comfortable shape (for me at least, my hand size is 17.5-18cm long and 9cm wide). I got this mouse in replacement of my Zowie FK1, which may I say is an exceptional mouse, I have never had any issues with it, but after 3 years of non-stop use and using it to play some of the most intense games out there such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and some PUBG, etc. I thought that it was time to get something new, so I did, the Logitech G203 Prodigy Gaming Mouse. Pros 1. Great sensor: This mouse is £24.99 or about €30, for this price I would expect a cheap low quality plastic mouse, terrible quality control and obviously a sensor that does not suit my needs for gaming at all, but I was happily surprised. The sensor that Logitech have installed to this mouse is called the 'Mercury Sensor' it isn't their high-end sensor the 'PMW 3366' but the difference, at least in my opinion, is non-existent. They feel the same. If you want to use this mouse to play any sort of games or even use it as an everyday mouse, this sensor will have you covered, 100%, without a doubt. 2. RGB lighting: 16.8 million colors, and it syncs with your other Logitech products through Logitech's very own Logitech Gaming Software programme or LGS, this is a very neat touch and one that certainly persuaded me into buying this mouse. 3. Shape: As I said earlier on, my hands aren't particularly large, in fact, they are tagged as a size medium (17.5-18cm long and 9cm wide) in many graphs online. This mouse fits my hand, perfectly? You see, I'm not entirely sure what the 'perfect' mouse, at least in terms of shape is, because I have not found it yet, however, for the most part, this mouse, the G203, is my perfect mouse, whether that be in terms of shape, the sensor or even it's incredibly low weight, which brings me on to my next point. 4. Weight: 85g, that's pretty light and in fact 2g lighter than my Zowie FK1. I know there are other low weight mice on the market, Finalmouse Ultralight Pro (71g) but this mouse is well balanced and does not fatigue whilst playing on a low sensitivity playing any sort of games whatsoever, which is perfect for me. 5. Cable: It's rubber, not braided, it is slightly stiff, however, I'm sure after some good use, this cable WILL loosen up, this does not bother me the slightest unlike it's higher priced G Pro equivalent, I honestly would recommend the G203 over the G Pro. Cons (there are none, at least for myself anyway) Conclusion: I definitely recommend anyone looking for a mouse to consider this as one of their MAIN options, there are many great mice out there on the market, but the G203 just has something about it. RGB lighting (which can be turned off), nice shape, it's lightweight, and, most importantly, it's cheap. Oh and if you're scared about the mouse breaking within a year or so, which probably won't happen, just don't, it has a 2-year warranty, for £24.99, please. Exceptional mouse, I can't express it enough, just buy it, see how it is, and if you don't like it, you've only spent £24.99. Extra note: I have seen this mouse on sale for £18.99, I believe, or at least £19.99 before but I would recommend this mouse for the price of £29.99, £24.99 is a steal, seriously, oh and lastly, the sides of the mouse are strong, they don't flex, so if you do tightly grip this mouse, don't fret, Logitech did a good job on the shell design and the types of materials chosen.

I bought this mouse in early 2018 and have been using it every day since then for gaming, video editing, music production and general every day computer use. Build quality: The mouse is made of hard plastic, is fairly light and doesn't creak or bend in normal use. The left and right buttons have a nice click to them, aren't too light but equally don't require a massive amount of force to activate. The side buttons are a little bit 'spongy', and though they activate near the top of the press, they feel like they continue in for a few mm before bottoming out. The mousewheel is a nice thick, sturdy rubber/plastic, notched, and the press is quite light with very little noise. Performance: In gaming, I play mostly first person shooters - namely CS:GO. I use this mouse every week in gameplay at the highest ranks, and in team competitions and 'scrims'. The pixel tracking is good, I always feel like my aim is consistent and my crosshair always goes exactly where I want it to go. The mouse fits perfectly in my hand, which is about average 'medium' size and I use a hybrid palm/claw grip. It has rubber pads on the bottom which glide nicely along my Steelseries QcK Heavy without any resistance. The cable is rubber but very flexible, easy to manipulate and has never got in the way of my using it. Features & Appearance: The mouse is fairly inoffensive to look at, and for that reason would look equally at home in an office as it does on an esports stage. The RGB lighting effects the G logo and a small band at the back, and it all has to be the same colour at any one time. The Logitech Gaming Software lets you customize what all the buttons on the mouse do, change the colour of the RGB lighting (including creating game- or software-specific profiles which automatically change the mouses light when they are open) and adjust the various specs of the mouse (dpi, polling rate, etc.). Summary: Very comfortable, inoffensive appearance, quite utilitarian. If you want to spend £20 on a well-made, highly functional gaming mouse but don't care too much how it looks, you can't do much better than the G203.

If you are looking for a sleek, aesthetic gaming mouse that isn’t “too out there”, or a mouse that you can use for everyday use then this is the mouse for you. The Logitech g203 is one of the better mouses that in my opinion should be part of your mouse collection. It’s sleek design is pleasing to the eye and looks especially good when matched with an RGB keyboard. The RGB lights can be reprogrammed using Logitechs free mouse software which provides three modes: Fixed, Breathing and Colour cycle. You have up to 6 buttons you can reprogram which makes it suitable for gaming, but also for doing shortcuts for everyday tasks. Upon holding it, you will notice it is one of the lighter gaming mouses and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. It has a good quality build with a premium feel, which is also highly durable. The response of the mouse is also great, and had no hiccups. It is on the smaller end compared to other gaming mouses, however you get used to its feeling quicker than you think. The mouse is also ambidextrous which allows you to use it with any hand with ease and overall it is one of, if not the jack of all trades of mice that can be used for any purpose. There is nothing I would change about this mouse other than having rgb on the scroll wheel, and the ability to have removable wire to go wired or wireless whenever I want. However there is the g703 for that if you want to go wireless. Overall, it’s a jack of all trades.

Ich bin als jahrelanger Nutzer der MX518 großer Fan Logitech-Mäusen und weiß gar nicht so recht wann und wieso ich davon abgewandert bin. Ich sah diese Maus hier im Angebot und las in diversen Testberichte nur gutes über die Haptik und den Sensor. Als sie Maus ankam war ich sofort hin und weg. Die Größe ist für mich optimal. Ich habe tendenziell eher kleine Hände. Eine DeathAdder liegt mir zwar auch gut in der Hand, ist aber nicht ganz so handlich wie die G203. Die LED-Beleuchtung ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Zwar ist der RGB-Farbdurchlauf heutzutage fast schon Standard, jedoch leuchtet die G203 so hell, dass es eine wahre Pracht ist. Es sind auch keine dunkleren Stellen zu erkennen - alles vollkommen gleichmäßig. Die Maus verzichtet komplett auf irgendwelche Gummierungen an den Seiten oder Fingerablage-Flächen. Da kommt mir zuerst das Wort "Oldschool" in den Sinn. Keine Gummierungen bedeutet, dass es auch nichts gibt was nach einigen Monaten schon abgeranzt und verbraucht aussieht. Und da ich schon immer jemand war, der gerne mit Daumen und kleinem Finger das Mauspad berührt für das beste Kontrollgefühl, ist diese Maus wie für mich gemacht. Das Mausrad funktioniert subjektiv betrachtet extrem gut. Es geht ziemlich leicht, rastet aber trotzdem spürbar immer wieder ein. Aber in solchen Dingen bevorzugt jeder etwas anderes, von daher ist es schwer darüber ein Urteil zu fällen. Durch den kleinen Button hinter dem Mausrad lassen sich die unterschiedlichen DPI-Stufen einstellen. Das hat keine direkte Auswirkung auf die Beleuchtung. Hierfür kann man sich (glaube ich) eine Software herunterladen, von der ich noch keinen Gebrauch gemacht habe. Der Sensor arbeitet sehr präzise. Auch hier ist es schwer ein objektives Urteil zu geben, weil diese Dinge alle nur aus subjektiven Eindrücken bestehen, aber da, wo ich den Cursor hinhaben möchte, geht er auch ohne Umwege hin. Gefühlt sogar noch ein kleines bisschen schneller und genauer als bei der Konkurrenz. Ein kleines Manko habe ich dann leider doch noch. Die rechte Maustaste lässt sich etwas leicht betätigen, sodass das für mich nun eine kleine Umgewöhnung bedeutet. Normalerweise lege ich Mittel- und Ringfinger auf der rechten Maustaste ab, sodass diese bei der G203 leider immer mal wieder ungewollt betätigt wird. Fazit: Zu einem Preis von 24 Euro war das für mich ein super Kauf. Form und Größe passt, arbeitet super, Beleuchtung grandios, Gesamtpaket sehr, sehr zufriedenstellend. Für alles weitere gibt es im Netz ja noch unzählige Testberichte und Reviews, die sachlich vielleicht etwas fundierter sind als meine. Sollte Ihnen meine Rezension dennoch behilflich sein, würde ich mich sehr über eine Bewertung freuen!

Mi intención era comprar un ratón láser, pero eran todos demasiado caros, así que me decidí por este que, según Amazon, era óptico. Pero no lo es. Cuando llegó, me llevé la sorpresa de que es láser. Está mal en la descripción que da Amazon. El ratón es una maravilla. Va muy suave y preciso. Es muy cómodo, ya que se adapta perfectamente a la mano y es de buen tamaño. Hay ratones que son demasiado grandes, para mi gusto. No estoy seguro de que vengan las instrucciones. Venía un papel, escrito en multitud de idiomas, pero con una letra tan microscópica que ni me molesté en buscar una lupa. Pero me dio la impresión de que era la garantía. En la caja ocurre lo mismo: todo escrito con un tamaño tan reducido que es un martirio para el ojo humano. El color del LED puede escogerse entre una gran variedad de colores. Al principio, nada más conectarse, el logo empieza a cambiar de color, como si fuera una feria. A mí me resultaba molesto, pero no encontraba la forma de seleccionar un color. Buscando las instrucciones en la web oficial, me di cuenta de que hay un software con el que configurar todos los aspectos de los ratones de la serie G. Este software permite seleccionar el color e incluso configurar perfiles, así como configurar, en el botón que está junto a la rueda, diferentes DPI. Inicialmente viene configurado con cuatro DPI diferentes, aunque a mi con dos me basta. El software también actualiza el firmware, el cual, después de instalarlo, permite hasta incrementar los DPI, pasando a... creo recordar que eran 8.000. El sotfware también da la opción de sincronizar el ratón con otros dispositivos Logitech, como puede ser, por ejemplo, un teclado. No pude probarlo porque no tengo ninguno. El ratón tiene seis botones: click derecho, click izquierdo, la rueda (funciona también como botón, como es habitual), el botón que está junto a la rueda, que configura los PDI, y dos botones laterales, situados en el lado izquierdo del ratón. Muy contento con este ratón, porque sustituye a uno óptico, y la diferencia es abismal, en todos los aspectos. El precio me parece bien. 34,95 € es muy buen precio para un ratón láser, y más aún siendo de una marca totalmente fiable. En la web oficial su precio es de 41,50 €

A parte per i pc di ufficio, quindi in quel caso anche un mouse da 10 euro basta e avanza per quello che deve fare, questo mouse è il MINIMO che posso raccomandare, NON PRENDETE ALTRO al di sotto di questo mouse, o comunque questa fascia, se ovviamente puntate al gaming o qulasiasi cosa che miri alla precisione e tempi di risposta immediati. Il distacco dalla superficie in cui il sensore continua a leggere i movimenti è quello giusto, quando invece mesi fa ne avevo preso uno di 15 che continuava a leggere i movimenti a 1km di altezza, era inusabile. Questo è perfetto. è MOLTO preciso, reagisce subito E SOPRATUTTO NON SKIPPA. Se giochi sopratutto a giochi competivivi E fps, se farai scatti immediati il sensore li legge perfettamente. Usavo un mouse da 10 euro prima e al minimo scatto il mio cursore/visuale impazziva, con questo qua non mi è successo neanche una volta, pure facendo "flick" velocissimi, li leggeva tutti e non skippava nessun movimento. Ripeto, se ci giocate al pc e sopratutto a livello competitivo, QUESTO E' IL MINIMO accettabile che potete prendere, non prendete altro di meno perchè sicuramente non sarà reattivo come questo qua, davvero aggiungete un pochino e non ve ne pentirete affatto, infatti non si sta neanche parlando di un prodotto costoso, è super economico. Ha i led rgb nella scocca di dietro e nel logo, con un programma dove puoi cambiare come si comporta (che fa tutti i colori, che ne tiene uno fisso, che "respira" e così via) e tutti i colori che volete, è abbastanza customizzabile. Ha un tastino giusto sotto la rotellina che di default semplicemente cambia il dpi ma potete bindarlo con qualunque azione voi volete, lo stesso vale per qualsiasi altro tasto presente sul mouse (volendo anche quelli al lato sinistro che di default vanno avanti e indietro nelle cartelle o pagine del browser, io consiglio di tenerli dato che risultano molto utili però sta a voi decidere). è comodo, economico, ottima risposta dei movimenti, un tasto in più dal mouse "normale" in cui puoi metterci qualsiasi azione tu voglia, è semplice ed elegante nero con tanto di rgb con una vasta gamma di colori, uno dei migliori mouse da gaming economici che potrete trovare, se puntate già più in basso di questo troverete solo schifezze che puntano al marketing quando ci mettono la parola "gaming" dentro, e spendere di più solo se volete più tasti sul mouse, magari un'estetica più "edgy" da gaming e cose così, sennò consiglio vivamente questo qua, il Logitech G203.

Longtemps parti sur des souris plus complexes (Razer Ouroboros) ou plus stylisées (Razer Deathadder), j'ai décidé de revenir sur une forme classique des souris bureautique, dont le concentré technologique s'en tient à l'essentiel : le capteur étonnant de précision, sans fioritures. Cette souris m'a réconcilié avec les FPS, tout simplement. Parfaite pour du finger tip ou du claw grip. En revanche, si vous avez l'habitude de tenir votre souris en palm grip, attention car cette souris est petite. Il m'arrive de m'en servir en palm grip pour de la bureautique et ma main - 16cm de long et 9,5cm de large - épouse les formes de la souris dans son entièreté. J'ai retrouvé le plaisir de jeu des années 2000 (Epoque Quake 3, Half-Life et CS 1.6) : souris légère et hautement maniable, sans pour autant avoir la sensation de tenir une coquille vide. Le poids est suffisamment présent pour assurer un bon maintient sur le tapis de souris. Amis aux longs doigts, abstenez vous. Pour les autres, foncez, c'est le meilleur rapport qualité prix !
