Makes fantastic slime!
No idea how it works on laundry but it is brilliant for slime! We diluted it using 3 parts water to 2 parts starch powder, then mixed it roughly 2 parts PVA glue to 1 part starch solution. No real measurements, we just eyeballed it and added more PVA if too firm / more starch if too sticky. It worked brilliantly; daughter is delighted and was occupied with slime all day! We only used a couple tablespoons of powder too, so a little goes a long way and it will last us ages. People who use this for laundry - please keep buying it so they'll keep producing it and we can keep making slime!

Good powder quality.
It is very okay on the fabrics I used it on.

bought for slime
Bought to make slime, made a bottle full of activator and didn't work added little by little to glue but didn't seem to work at all. Made a smaller activator, you need to put ALOT I mean ALOTTT! Of starch will a lot less water u think to make it work. Slime is good although quite sticky but if add more it'll go runny. The packet comes so so much smaller than I thought it would people are selling this for £9-15+ Would never spend that much on this as it's very small and happy I only spent £2.72 on it.

Lovely old fashioned starch powder
I had been looking for starch powder to use for our altar linen at my church. Boots used to do it but in recent years they have stopped its production. I tried this not knowing whether it would be good for purpose. When I got it out to use looked at the instructions and I like other purchasers thought scoop, what scoop? I thought back to when I was using my old starch and used 3 tablespoons of powder. I was absolutely delighted with the results, it did feel a little bit stiffer than it needed to be so perhaps next time I will try 2 tablespoons instead and see if this works. I am thrilled that I have found this and will continue to use it, thank you

Slime or no slime??
This is great for making slime- at first. This really annoyed me as it has now stopped working, I personally think it has a date- but yeah worked but doesn’t now!😢

If you want really stiff starching, this is great.
If you avoid starching anything (as I do) but find that you have got to starch an item to be really stiff - this did a good job. It was slightly by trial, error and common sense as the instructions are for an initial litre of water & I was only starching one small item requiring not a lot of liquid. I can be more frugal in future.

Great for making slime - it really does work!!!
This is great for making slime. You mix some PVA glue with a small amount of cold water and whatever colour you want, separately you mix 6 teaspoons of the laundry starch with half a cup of warm water and stir well to dissolve. You then add 4 to 6 teaspoons of the starch mixture to the glue mixture. Within seconds of mixing it, you will have fantastic slime. The relief, having tried so many other formulas, is enormous. Our kitchen has been a horrible mess for week, and nothing else worked til this!If you want puffy slime, you add a couple of squirts of shaving foam to the glue before you add the starch.

Didn’t work for me
Tried both methods in instructions on packet. First in washing machine, useless. Then hand wash, again useless. I couldn’t recommend buying this at all I’m afraid. I like some other reviewers, suspect it is just corn flour. It certainly looked exactly it.
