Hi what kind of setup/equipment do I need for the microphone to work. Bit of a noob when it comes to this??

Hi, you dont need a mixer. Use the mic with a XLR connection, focusrite scarlet 212 then plug that into the back of the computer and your good to go. Exactly the setup I use

No, you have to buy the XLR cable separately. Great mic, though.

Will i need to Purchase anything else or can i literally plug it into my computer and use it?

You will need an audio interface with an XLR in with a lot of gain (it's a dynamic mic, so it will need a lot of clean gain), something like a GoXLR Mini. If you want a hassle free microphone that just plugs into your computer, go for the Rode Podcaster or Rode NT-USB.

Would you really need a Pop filter for this microphone even though it's got a built in one?
