I had low expectations for this product, especially when it arrived and I realised the pot was tiny (I know it says 100ml, I'm just genuinely awful at picturing sizes). However, I am incredibly impressed by the colour payoff and longevity! I always choose dark colours as I need them to go over light brown hair - the photos attached show the dye after first application onto my natural hair colour, no bleach or peroxide (I'm too scared to ruin my curls). The colour is vibrant and a perfect teal colour, somewhere between green and blue. I have also attached a photo which shows my hair after around 4 weeks of fade without reapplication (I wash my hair once a week but rinse/dampen it every day - just curly girl things). I reapply this product about once a month and the pot gives about 4 applications, given that I only colour the ends and my hair is quite fine (for my whole head I imagine I'd need the whole pot for one application). Great colour, really recommend.

This hair dye is easy to apply and goes a long way. The colour is lovely a vibrant but it's important to note this red is pink-based as opposed to orange-based.

Directions is the only hair dye I'll use now. I've tried many other well-known brands and they just don't match up to this. The smell is nice, and it's got a lovely thick consistency to it which makes application very easy (with or without a tint brush). My hair feels so silky smooth and healthy afterwards. The colour is so vibrant, it lasts a few weeks before fading (I wash my hair around twice a week in lukewarm water). My favourite has to be pillarbox red, but the other photo is with cerise which is also nice and vibrant.

The worse dye I have ever used. My hair literally stained my face days after I put it on. The dye bleeds non stop and stains everything. Ears, back of the neck, face everything! The dye is on my nails even days after washing my hair because I used my hands and even then my nails stains arent coming off I had to cut them. Worse dye ever, they should take it off the listing. Really disappointed, if I could give it 0 stars I would.

The color came out way brighter on freshly bleached hair than I was expecting it or wanting it to. I wanted a subtle dusky rose but it kinda came out more bubblegum. :(
