Works great, picture looks hd quality, and sound is good too. I couldn't see any difference in the quality compared to using Airplay over Apple TV.The cable was nice and long. It was easy to use, simply just plug in and play and there is no App installation required. Plus, it is really amazing that there is a usb port to plug lightning power or micro usb into so your iphones smartphones can have power while running. The video output was 1080P high quality image. And if the phone/apps are portrait view it will be in portrait and if they are landscape view the mirroring will be landscape. This adapter is so handy. I haven't stopped using it since I bought it!. This is a good thing, as it would allow users of older iOS devices to utilize the cord for mirroring.

Bought the cable mainly to use abroad to watch downloads from the U.K. providers such as Sky and Amazon Prime on a large screen rather than on a small IPad screen. Firstly, want to say that cable is easy to connect, need to use both usb and hdmi connections when plugging into TV and then click “trust this computer” on the connected device. Screen with the device content appears on TV. Which made me very happy for a moment, until I started trying sources that I actually want to access. And I want to report that unfortunately the cable doesn’t work for my purposes.To start with, I discovered that Sky considers TV connected to your device with this cable as a separate device and does not allow streaming OR watching downloaded Sky content. May be there is a way around it, but I’m not a techie so don’t know.Amazon prime, both streaming and downloads are not working either. Streaming produces a “viewing error” and downloaded content though seems to be playing in the background, screen remains black with no picture both on the device (IPad air) and on the TV screen. So, cable is not useful either.I also tried BBC, ITV and Channel 4: live TV and Catch Up TV work for all three of these. So, if for some strange reason you need to watch terrestrial TV through a device connected to TV, it is possible with this cable. I only hope, that this will be the case abroad through VPN, will try next time.Also, internet content, including YouTube is accessible, so you can watch YouTube on a big screen (if you don’t have WiFi TV) using this cable.I have not tried downloads to a device from other sources/ using other programmes as simply don'thave anything at present on my device.Hence, I conclude that it’s a bit “hit and miss” with this cable. Whilst I understand that Sky doesn’t work due to their own set limitations, inability to watch amazon prime downloads were disappointing.Also, HDMI connection bit became very hot very quickly so not sure if it’s going to last.

Nice product. Plug and play just as it says. Don't count on using Netflix, Hulu, amazon or Comcast tv. If your looking to watch movies this isn't the product for you. Very cool how it displays your phone on the screen. Great item as long as you don't have intentions to transfer movies from your phone to your TV.

This cord is awesome! The length of the cables are perfect. I have the lightning to HDMI cable from Apple and it's so short it's not difficult to use. But this is exactly what I needed. I can play home videos on our tv or projector very easily. I've been mostly using it to put exercise videos from the internet up on the screen and it's been so helpful! I also like that I can take it with me so I can show video from trips or whatever else on other people's TVs easily.

This was a last minute impulse buy for me. I have a karaoke app on my phone and was curious if this would work... Definitely it did! I connected the adapter from phone into my TV. My TV is connected to a stereo sound surround system... The adapter was quick to recognize my plug in and easy to toggle between devices for display and settings. Ultimately I was able to enjoy the karaoke with friends.

I just love this Lightning to HDMI Adapter Cable! So Happy with my purchase as we now can hook up to TV so we can all see what is on the ipad. Very durable made. Glad I found this adapter cable! It sure makes life easier and more fun! Good quality good price.

I bought this cable so that I could watch the programs from the Iphone on the big screen( got the projector), This is perfect. In fact I wish I could of known sooner of this product . It is really easy to set up, just plug in and play,no need install any driver or App/Personal Hotspot/Airplay, and no need any setting on the mobile ( Iphone 6 plus) . Actually it is also a kind of fun that seeing the phone features on the big screen LOL .. Great product I am happy with the purchase. :-))

This cable is very easy to use, it was up and running in less than 30 seconds. This cable does not come with a USB plug so I used my Apple USB plug and it worked fine, I like that the cable simultaneously charges my iPhone 6S while mirroring it. I purchased a similar cable from elsewhere but I had to return it because there was video lag but I didn't have that issue with this cable. I am able to stream movies and kids game from my 6S and mirror it to my HDTV.

does not work with my iPhone 6s at all

I bought this for my brother and tested it before giving it to him.It works on my iPhone 6s iOS 11.4.1 as well as on my iPad(though it took some time to recognise the iPad).

The product did not work properly, it started to get really hot when plugged in, I burnt myself removing it from the tv. This suggested that it could have caught fire!

I was looking for a device like this for long time. I stream a lot of live news via Safari on my mobile. Use this one so easy.

It worked off and on for a while and then totally stopped working. I've replaced it with a cheaper one which works brilliantly.

Temperamental when connecting to tv or monitor. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t! Absolutely disappointed
